Tel el-Kebir 1882 (2 Viewers)

Lawrence,
Wow, what a Tel-El Kebir dio! The number of figures is incredible, what an impressive display! Well done and excellent photos. I don't think the Egyptians have a chance!:D

Thanks Martyn, Tommy, britfarmer, Kirk & JW for the kind words. Had a fun time putting this together, but did get nervous a couple of times - domino effect... I found a few more sets and will take a photo when I get a chance.

Was glad to see the results of your being impatient Lawrence now looking forward to seeing what Martyn sends against them..........Joe

Thanks Mike for the kind words. Though I do not collect the Frontline Zulus or John Jenkins (you have to draw the line somewhere :(), I have admired your collection. I especially enjoy the dioramas you create and the vast amount of troops you deploy in those dioramas :) I look forward to seeing more of your collection. All the best, Lawrence.

Tommy...that's a really nice scene...love those Lancers!!!
Thanks Mike and Al. I have seen a listing in an early trophy catalog for more of these lancers but from different units. These are the only two I have come across besides the WWI Lance vs. Sword set.
