Tel el-Kebir 1882 (1 Viewer)

Thanks Mike and Al. I have seen a listing in an early trophy catalog for more of these lancers but from different units. These are the only two I have come across besides the WWI Lance vs. Sword set.

Hi Tommy

I've had a look at my catalogues and can only find reference to the DE9 Lancer in an action pose. As you know there were many Indian Lancers featured in the Raj/Indian Army series but these were parade figures and not action figures, I love the action set{bravo}}

Cheers

As always Len Taylor's Lancers have always enhanced any series they appeared in an thank you Tommy for sharing these with us they're classic.........Joe

Martyn,

Even when I was actively collecting Trophy, before I gave 90% of my collection to my friend Hans, I never had anything approaching your magnificent collection. I think I had two sections of that log fortification (both from Egyptian Artillery sets) and could never have set up a defensive line even beginning to approach that incredible set up!^&cool^&cool^&cool^&cool

The breadth and depth of both Trophy production and your collection never cease to amaze me!:smile2:

Thanks Damian and Martyn. I really appreciate that Martyn has the ability to set up and photograph individual sets whereas mine are a fixed display.

I do envy you Tommy, I just wish I had more room to set up fixed displays^&grin:salute::
