A break in the fighting lulls some members of a Platoon to relax too much. Coming under Sniper fire with one man down, and others taking cover a Corpsman races out to aid the wounded Marine, while other members of the Platoon lay down suppressive fire as their LT calls in Artillery.

Another outstanding dio. Inside room view looks so realistic with the debris. All works so well together. Chris

Hi Steve,

as I've already said, whatever you do is well done! :) What a wonderful diorama! Everything is utterly astounding… {eek3} I'm very found of little details… that chair (with a magazine on) is pure poetry!

Thanks a lot for sharing!

Cheers

Who makes the buildings and accessories
that you use ?

Hiya.

Wall and Pagoda K&C

Brick building is several Tamiya brick wall sets glued together, some DIY filler for the plaster then a watered down wash of whatever colour you want Vallejo paint. Scorch marks just some dry brushing.
Window frames, matches.

Fancy balustrade wall. Leemax that I've painted.
Cobblestone mat also Leemax, also paint applied.

Furniture. Britains from Zulu range. K&C also do table and chairs but not been able to get any myself so far.

Hope this helps.

Steve

Cheers Robin. Union labour was used in the building off same ! {sm0}

Steve...
the figure shooting around the corner...
that's a nice sculpt...
I can't tell you how many vintage Vietnam film clips I have seen with soldiers unloading cover fire in that position...
nice display...

Is the figure holding the map near the radio operator from K&C?

Yes he's the Mule driver, who as you can see fits quite well as the Platoon commander in this scene. The Map, I just printed off from the internet.
