Dear Gunn Club

Our 95th Rifles arrived Wednesday and are being shipped as I type, thank you to all of you who placed an order for these 'Best of British' fighting troops!
As we develop our Napoleonic ranges we would be very interested in hearing from you, with particular regard to which Regiments you would like to see manufactured. So if you are a Napoleonic collector please drop me an email with your ideas and requests, if you don't tell us we cannot make it!

Our Anniversary set this year has now gone to production, but has been derailed timetable wise. You can expect to see this piece early September and for the the first time it will not be an MG piece! What I can tell you is that it will feature a Knights Cross winner in action and will be part of a 3 man set. It will be 70 years since this particular recipient won the Knights Cross and therefore we thought this would be a suitable tribute to his bravery. If anybody has any ideas for the 2013 anniversary piece please send them in, if we choose your idea you will win a free sample of the anniversary piece when we produce it! Can be from any particular era and any nationality but needs to tie in with 2013 somehow, for example 1943 will be the 70th anniversary for that event. Please don't send in requests for 1915 and say its 98yrs since this happened, as it does not have the same ring!

August will see us taking a break from production due to various office and home moves, the only pieces likely to be released with be 4 x WW1 German infantry pieces, these have now shipped and are on the way to the UK.

Last but not least I have attached pictures of 2 of our 4 new US Paratroops out next month. So far as I can see they are historically accurate for Normandy with correct colour uniform, no Stars and Stripes flag for the 101st version and raring to go into action! As much as hate to say this please do not send in pre-orders just yet, until the official release announcement in July. It just confuses poor Helen in the back office as these figures are only part sets, best really to see if you like the whole thing first before you order! As you can see we have made another Mohican warrior to compliment ATW001, surely one of the coolest looks out there for the all American warrior?!!!

Kind Regards

I am not so sure about this set. 30cal is pointing downwards and the pose of the second para does not especially appeal to me ; Will wait for the second set of paras before making a decision which one to buy. ( The Puma is certainly on my list for next month)

To me they look to clean

I think they are OK........A while back in another time and place, Tom and I discussed poses which were absolutely daring and incredible, but I have not seen any yet, it is a strange world sometimes. Alex

To me the standing firing figure looks fine, while the other manning the. 30 Cal looks a bit extreme.

guys,
These are the action poses I would like TG to produce . For example GI's knocking down a door with the butt of their rifles and another GI standing by to shoot a grenade inside the house ( see picture)with a 3th one covering his buddies

I don't have the K&C US airborne so for me these are a Godsend! I cannot afford the FL figures and the scale is all wrong for me as well so these just the ticket! For TGM to make these figures Guy, we would need a house and TGM have not made a house yet have they? Is there anybody out there making a house you could use figures like this with?

I love the Mohawk 30 Cal gunner and he is definitely on my purchase list when he comes out. I have the mortar team and will be adding these new sets for sure. I guess you need some conventional shooting poses to fill out your dio so the rifleman is also on my wish list.

There are several producers of houses
-1/30 scale you have JG miniatures, Build-a-Rama, Hudson and Allen and many others
Me ,I prefer Mk35 and Monroe Perdu models . They are 1/35 scale but with a little bit of modelling skills you can easily turn them into 1/30 scale so that they fit with the TG and K&C figures
Or you can make them yourself like the pictures I attach

I don't think there are much wrong with these two releases surprised at the comments of extreme???? the MG does look to have a slight downward angle but, we use our imagination to suggest it may be a respite in fighting!!!

The manufacturer is doing US airborne forces which, some on here have been asking for. Historical accuracy is more important for me. Decent enough releases to me and I am sure they will be popular.

The anniversary set sounds interesting

I also think both figures are very OK and they will certainly be joining my troops... I know that some have come to expect those "Oh my God!" releases, which TG has so much given to us, but this is not always possible. The good thing, at least the way I feel it with TG, is that the worst case scenario are OK figures, never something I don`t like at all! :wink2:
