Wayne...

I think your right. Arnim's aircraft looks very nice
Mitch

When you see it in the flesh it is not at all shiney. I think it could be called that should one compare it to the absolute flat of say, K&C but, its a superb finish in reality. It blends the detail very well and everything complements each other from finish camo colour and decal work

The not so shiney Armin Faber version will be at the London show assuming it arrives in 1 piece from Hong Kong. The rest of the shipment has now left HK and will be in the UK and in the USA within the next 4 weeks.
All the new FJ sets put on the workshop page (www.tomgumm.co.uk) will also be on display along with the SS cavalry and the first set from the Naughty Forties range!
Ken Jackson from Maison Militaire will be showing all these items and is looking forward to meeting you all!
Kind Regards Tom

The naughty forties???

The FW does have a satin type finish, but it does not mean its not a very good model model.:salute::. Will we see a vehicle in London Tom?

Rob

Rob..

The naughty fourties looks like it will be just that from the title and the first pics. Looks like a tongue in cheek look at London with all the Yanks etc
Mitch

Mitch, is there more than one pic of the naughty forties?. I wonder if this is just going to be 'naughty ' sets as it were or a full on home front range?

Rob

Yes the vehicle will be there although in all the excitement I seem to have forgotten what it is we are producing!
All action set is all I can say at this moment in time!
Kind Regards Tom

Thanks Tom,looking forward to seeing your first vehicle. The naughty Forties, is that just 'risque' sets or more of a home front range would you say??

Cheers

We have plenty of ideas for the NF range, some more tamer than others I have to admit! If the collectors support us then we will produce a big variety of risque and not so risque figures, then you can buy what your conscience allows you! The great thing about this range is you can put all types of military and non military personnel from all over the world in it, all having one big party together if you like!
If you look in the workshop you will see the B version 'Pearl Harbour 1940' of this range and the A version 'New York 1940' on the QM page, although both these figures could be based anywhere in the world around that time.
All sales of the NF range are treated in strictest confidence and no wives or girlfriends will be informed!
Over and out!

Tom, the risque sets are excellent and very different, its just I've been hoping one of the big producers will do a full on Home front range and thought TG might be about to do it, but bring on the snogging!:wink2:

Well you never know the Home Guard might be popping in for a cup of char and some night ops training!

Very interesting set. One could get a few of the TGM naughty 40's and some of the K&C refugees and start a display of civilians in WWII. Sounds like an idea for a great range. Then Rob would get his wish for home front figures. (and Rob - your PM box is full again :rolleyes2:)

Thanks Terry:wink2:

I think the announcement of this range has kind of slipped under the radar IMO. Had K&C or figarti et al done this with the scope and possibility there would be hundereds of posts already saying how good an idea it was.

Naughty fourties has amazing possibilities and, for collectors wanting to add depth to dio's and collections or a new collection its brilliant. The thought of Home guard has me thinking of some great dio's I have wanted to make but, not had the tools in terms of figures to do.
