PS, next time if I am going to get infracted for insulting a forum member, you can believe I am going to make it well worth my type and use my favorite DIRECT words, the heck with the sarcasm, I will get right to the point!!

Tom,

In all seriousness, I don't think you want to do that.

Self regulation is a good thing, apparently I upset a forum member the other day with a suggested profanity (even though it was rhymed and not specific),I would not have done it if I thought it was going to upset anyone.

Why don't you suggest a course of In the Loop and the Thick of It to them.:p Upset by a suggested profanity; I am sorry but that degree of hypersentitivity is almost too much for me to contemplate. I am not sure how someone like that can manage to navigate through the day. That is the problem with the lowest common denominator.

Couldn't agree more Bill,I thought it a shame as it was meant to be in humour, but there you go.:(

Perhaps the complainant wasn't offended by the joke but jealous of it's quality.

No - probably not :D - probably just someone thin skinned and overly PC. :(:D

Hopefully I haven't offended anyone with this post. Bill, I hope you are ok with me quoting your excellent post. Rob - my comment is not intended to be construed as a comment on the quality of your joke, even though it may appear so. And for anyone thin skinned and overly PC correct, there is treatment available.

:D

I must confess the quality of joke concerned was poor;)

Oh, I dunno, most of Rob's jokes are fairly poor quality. Not in my league of poor quality, obviously, but poor none the less. ;)

A very astute summing up if I may say!;)

Fully concur with that-now that makes at least three people I have upset here on this thread:D

I don't think you have upset anyone. Besides, Rob confided to me that he gets his jokes from down in the basement near the Bikes and hardened bags of cement. That must be an English reference? :)

Only three, you need to try harder mate.:D:D Actually I am not even sure how you counted to three.:D

Never fear Wraith. I doubt whether anyone can unseat you from the throne where the poorest of poor quality jokes go to die. :)

Bill, Rob,

Amen, I got the same issue earlier this week, way ridiculous, but it seems the board has trended recently that way.

Tom

:(
Tom,

In all seriousness, I don't think you want to do that.

Brad,

In all seriousness, Yes, the next time I feel the need to be direct, i will be via PM. All of this beating around the bush on the board as of late is ridiculous. Hopefully those problems are now solved, but the degree of hypersensitivity shown is not very conducive to a healthy board. Why don't we just have censored posts and pre moderation prior to posting. Heck, I not even sure this post passes muster, I wonder if this will be posted or edited out?:(:(

Is the Risk Mitigation Specialist in house? I repeat, is there a Risk Mitigation Specialist in the house???!!! :D

I think all posts should be run past a master of decorum.

Someone known as a paragon of genteelness:D

A master of courteousness, civility, mannerliness, and gentility.

Someone like......dare I say me?

Just call me the master of moderation:D

Bunch of whining, oops.......how do I delete that last line?

I think that position would fall on me. After al, I have been dubbed "the final arbitrator of everything" by a member of the Forum. :D
