Bastet, also known as Bast, is one of the most worshipped deities in ancient Egyptian mythology. She is often depicted as a lioness or as a woman with the head of a lioness or a domestic cat. Bastet's transformation from a lioness warrior goddess to a more nurturing cat goddess highlights her dual nature – both fierce and gentle.

Bastet was revered as a guardian of households, ensuring their safety and prosperity. Families often kept amulets or statues of Bastet in their homes for protection. Due to her nurturing and protective qualities, Bastet was also closely associated with fertility and childbirth. Women would pray to her for a safe and healthy pregnancy.

Plenty of stories / legends to keep Carter & Jones busy for a while in Egypt Mike. Can we look forward to you maybe putting your own imaginative touch on some adventures !?

Absolutely.

That’s a great piece and a good size. As you know I looked into getting it as well, reasonably cheap around $20, but the postage from memory was $80, so I could not justify it. Robin.

Amazing stuff AI can do Mike, and it hasn't started WW3 yet !

This is amazing Steve. Makes you want to ask"How'd they do that!?". I can choose from four different Remix styles. I've been playing around with the style that creates what looks like pencil sketches of the original. I could create my own coloring book or cartoon series. Another fun aspect of our hobby.

🤔 A new AI generated comic stripe section following the adventures of Mike Estell Intrepid Explorer will need its own tab !👍🏻

Very cool Mike! Love the continuing sagas you've been posting on this series. And the AI stuff is too amazing.....don't know if we should enjoy it or be concerned.

Thanks Mark. AI is amazing if used for the good of all. Unfortunately there are some who will use it for nefarious purposes and that's what concerns me. I have more diorama accessories arriving next week so the "sagas" will continue.
