An artist, looking for inspiration, escapes from Bow Street in London to Brentwood to find peace and solitude for his next creation.

He has barely begun to create before he suffers a canine disturbance!

Brad,

Good job for another well thought out display and short story line.

I found your pictures "therapeutic".

Thanks, Raymond.:)

Wayne and Raymond, thank you both.

I actually don't have that much Town & Country (maybe 10 figures) but find the series captivating. I actually picked up the Artist figure yesterday from Alex at Valley Forge and today this just sort of came to me. There are many things you can do with figures from T & C and it is a nice change from your normal toy soldiers, "therapeutic," as you say Raymond :smile2:

Brad

A beautiful and tranquil scene-almost reflected as an oil painting in its construction-dogs in scenes are getting very popular on the forum of late :)

Just in passing Brentwood now looks nothing like your picture-mores the pity ;)

Bob

Very nice Brad, "The Artist at Work" is one of my favourite Trophy Town and Country sets {bravo}}

Cheers

Martyn:)

Well done Brad, :smile2:....this is different and makes for a nice change. ^&cool

Jeff

Bob, Martyn and Jeff, thanks. Bob, when I was thinking of a destination for the artist's trip, I first thought of Harewood, which is a place near Leeds that I stopped in the early 70s when visiting Britain. At the time, it was one of the most peaceful places I had ever visited. I remember sitting by the side of the road and just listening to the quiet, if that makes sense. When I, on occasion, find a similarly rare spot, I say to myself "this reminds me of Harewood." I didn't choose Harewood for this little story because I'm guessing that it is probably built up and not very quiet anymore.

Brad

It doesn't take many figures to tell this story. Very nice.

Excellent scene Brad, very nice indeed and as others have said a very peaceful scene. Nice one mate{bravo}}

Rob

Thanks Scott and Rob. It's fun to employ a little creativity as you both have :smile2:
