The bridge is another diorama I finished this year . It was an old dio that I fixed for Howard then he wanted me to extend it is over two metres wide .
The tunnels came about as the height of the diorama would leave a lot of blank space .I suggested we could make tunnels in the dead space .so now we have V.C's in a tunnel complex. the beauty of this diorama Howard has been able to display armour and M35's full of troops on the road with the viet cong underneath . the tunnels open up under the hut on the right hand side of the diorama whilst the left hand side there is a well . which I scratched built. there is also teh guard house with the local MP's monitor the convoy .

Great work Damian,

I saw this late last year when I visited Howard and was impressed with it at that stage.

Good to see that he has now been able to show off all the figures in a realistic display, instead of boxes on the floor !!!!

Well Done,
John

Simply outstanding Damian!
Having just spent a couple of days with Howard and his incredible dioramas and displays, this one is one of your best…fantastic!
I wish Gordon could have seen your work…I know he would also have loved your many ‘works of history and art’.

Many congratulations from Melbourne Airport Qantas Lounge getting ready to fly back to Hing Kong.
Andy.

Very nice interesting Diorama. Reminds me of an episode of Tour Of Duty back in the late eighties, when those two US Soldiers enter that Wood bamboo house "I dont have a good feelig about this" one says....suddennely out jumps Victor Chrles from his tunnel entrance under the floor of the Bamboo.....YEE HAAAAH !!! Ouch Great Diorama true to life well done

This is an absolute stunning diorama! Well done and thanks for sharing.

That is fantastic. Great use of space too, you have figures on the ground and underneath it!
Well done.
