Ive always envied people that can go to TS shows and TS shops all the time to buy there chosen choice of company product,i have never bought a TS in the flesh to say.Everything i have i have bought on-line so i have to trust the views and opinions of people on here and pictures to make my mind up for me BUT i wouldn't swap a thing because i can jump in my car and in 10 minutes i can be at Obee,s house sitting in his shed having a beer and marveling at his work, the man is a genius IMO.I get to see all the stuff sent from around the world watch it from start to finish and what John can do with a paint brush is simply amazing,i can't paint a wall in my house without making a mess.

The other day a package arrived from the states in a bad way after working out a deal with the seller it was off to Johns to get it fixed, the pictures tell the rest of the story.
Yes is does cost money but believe me it is money well spent and if i ever sold any of John,s repaints you would get your money back plus more (But i would never sell them).
So just a big thanks to John who not only is a master at what he does he is a bloody good bloke to and im wrapped he is only 10 minutes away a good bloke to share a coldie with.

So now i have a GREY Opel at long last and you wouldn't know it was damaged thanks again matey.

Wayne,

you shouldn't have told everyone :redface2::redface2::redface2: ....... I need some rest from the sweatshop where I'm flat out painting, fixing, repairing......

Phew...

Need another beer ???? :) :)

I'm sure a few other collectors would love to be as close, and also enjoy the companionship of our hobby, like the dozen of so Perth collectors who don't have soldier shows to goto so gather every 3 - 4 months and share our enjoyment of toy soldiers in each other's homes .

OK, ........ back out the shed before the wife comes home ...

John

Also a great inspiration to any aspiring painters out there. Just have a look at his web-site - which he so freely gives everyone acess to - and the urge to pick up a brush and have a go - is overwhelming. I know - because I was one so inspired - and I'm at the other end of the World!:D

Cheers John:cool: - Johnnybach

Lets get our priorities right. LH Troopers must have first call over a "GREY" German Truck!!!!!!!!!!!^&grin More LH Troopers have left Tel El Donnybrook enroute to El Saba Fremantle. I need 100 LH men on parade by the 31 Oct, Beersheba Day Anniversary. So no more beer and back to the repaint table post haste.:smile2:

PS Nice job on the German Opel. I agree with Wayne, you are a Legend.
