Guadalcanal, Sept 1942. Members of VMF 224 plan the morning's mission while the ground crew prep their Wildcats. Chris

Nicely done, Chris. I'm a big fan of the Pacific air war, especially early war naval and the Solomon's. Who made the Wildcats and the figures? -- Al

Thanks Al. The Wildcats are from Franklin Armour 1:48 in the foreground, with the inappropriate red ball. Background F4F is by Hobbymaster, 1:72, as is the jeep. Figs are by Eduard and Tamiya, 1:48. Trees by JG. Sand base by Lowe's. :wink2: Chris

Great idea for a dio Chris {bravo}}

Cheers

Martyn:)

good job of forcing the perspective. The red ball may be incorrect for the time period, but it is by far my favorite version of our aircraft markings, along with the rudder stripes. I think we should go back to them.^&cool -- Al
