Looks great, George. A fantastic variety of AFV's, for both sides. It is remarkable how effective the camo is on a lot of the German AFV's. Really like the buildings, especially the large factories. Going to be a lot of casualties once the shooting starts. -- Al

Thanks Al, glad you like it, that's about 75% of my Russian armor, about 25% of my German armor..................I should do a Kursk diorama and reverse the attackers/defenders to get a ton of German armor into a display...............

A man after my own heart!!! :) Killer looking diorama George from the ruins, horse drawn supplies, terrain and the tons of troops/vehicles all look superb!!!!!!!! with the dios you create you could charge a small fee to visit and view:) again very well done and as I said in your last large diorama the diorama tells the story just by looking at it, thanks for the fun efforts and photos...Sammy

Glad you like it Sammy, I like the way you picked up on the small details like the horse drawn supplies............maybe overdid it with the tanks, but I like the way it came out, thanks again for the feedback.

Are you kidding!!?? no such thing as "over did'" when it comes to large dioramas like these, more the merrier I say.

George mate i wish i lived near you, that is fantastic mate thanks for posting made my day.

Looks like an epic battle happening in your basement George! Outstanding dio mate, so much to look at, thanks for posting.

Tom

That's impressive George. I never realized that this scale had so many armor variations, including the horse soldiers and wagons. Are they all from the same company? I take it you paint everything to, right?

Thanks Wayne, glad you like it; if you lived nearby, I'd convert you over to 1/72nd scale...............^&grin

Thanks B; there are loads of items in this scale as it used to be the go to scale for wargaming. There are about 25 different companies represented in this diorama..............I did a lot of the figures, most of the vehicles..............some of the vehicles are diecast................

George, all works so well together, the massed armor, factory ruins with gun emplacements, etc. Enjoyed viewing very much. Chris

Phenomenal displays, as usual George. There's so much you can do with this size than the larger ones.

Thanks Chris; this one has sort of a Cross of Iron feel to it, I watched it again the other night. IMO, it's still one of the best if not the best movies on the Eastern Front. Considering it was made in 1977 with no CGI is pretty amazing. They got just about everything right; T34/85's, German tripod mounted MG's, stick grenade with the pull charge, German and Russians sub machine guns, authentic uniforms as well..........
