Very well done :salute:::salute:::salute::

A Great collection of K&C D-Day figures and wonderfully shown.
I also like the beach/water effect.
What is the water?

Thanks, the beach/water mat is from JG Miniatures. John did a similar mat for my Gallipoli dio a few yrs ago. More to come. Chris

JG Miniatures made the beach/water mat. THanks for the comment.

Chris

Thanks! The JG Miniatures water looks fantastic 😃
I’m in the process of making my own beach setup using model water (of the model railroad variety) for the ocean and waves... My goal is to create more of a dramatic display for my K&C LCVP and troops, but the JG Miniatures water would save me the hassle.

Thanks again for posting!

I'm not talented enough to make the water scene. :redface2: John made a similar mat for my Gallipoli dio. I sent him a diagram and silhouettes of the landing boats and steamer and he made hollow spaces for the boats to fit. Even had bow waves!

Looking fwd to your display. Note, the Rangers landed via LCAs from RN and RCN ships. Don't think that matters much for our purposes. Chris
