Once again Nick's done an outstanding job in creating the scene for the figures..........The Lt.

Really nice work..Your stuff is always stellar and one has to suspect that more than one TS collector has been inspired by your presentations over the years enough to mimic you. We see a number of posters from the various forums now trying to tell stories or represent a portrait style presentation in their diorama photos. Some of the Nappy guys come to mind...Michael

Thank you Michael.......Things have really gotten out of hand as of late. The Great Crusade in itself is a logistical nightmare. We need to inventory what we have, and we dont have the time to do it. So we are storing according to category on our shelves D-Day - Bulge - etc. When we plan a scene you want to know what you have available to do it.

Our 12' by 24' "Headquarters" will be up and running in about 2 months. We hope to have 60 16" by 4" shelves to keep a lot of sets out of the box and available to view. That structure will be for display and our workshop. The Studio will still be in my basement occupying a 14' by 25' area and BSP North at Nicks house is another 12' by 22' area.

Then there is the Conte Project ........ The First Legion Stalingrad Series we are contributing to in the FL section.......We are developing another storyline that will bridge TGC into the Conte Project.

And a few projects for private collectors and manufacturers. We are doing a display for out towns City Hall. And another for The Revolutionary War Museum in town. All while trying to raise the bar on realism even further which of course is more work.

We are preparing for the Hackensack Show. We will have 50 Special edition 8" by 4" glossy photos on hard stock commemorating TGC, we will give to Treefrog members when you identify yourself. We will also be at Historicon and Valley Forge next Summer. Alex

Episode III of The Great Crusade will be out next week

Operation Overlord

Absolutely fantastic. I watched it with my friend Dennis, a Vietnam Veteran Navy SOG Seal Team member, and he was impressed. That's the best compliment I can give.^&cool^&cool^&cool^&cool^&cool

Glad you both enjoyed it

Excellent stuff. Do you have any info on when you may release the book to accompany the series and, how the format of it will play out??

When all of the Episodes are complete, we will explore the possibilities of a Book, Blue Ray DVD or a package of both.

If it can be done economically. that would be the key. We have never gotten good feedback on doing a book or DVD.

This does surprise us, because when a new Episode comes out our website traffic increases significantly.

We can get 8" X 5" glossy post cards for a good price. We were thinking of doing 10 cards per Episode, which would also have a narration on the back. We did some of these as a test, which were really cool and they did sell out...... They are not the one you know about. Alex

Here is a still from Episode III, depicting Lord Lovat's Commandos reinforcing Major Howard at the Pegasus bridge on the afternoon of D-Day.

Modeling notes:

We used our new tree construction in this scene. The Cafe Gondree and the Pegasus bridge were scratch built by BSP.

Battle notes:

The wrecked Panzer IV and halftrack were recon units ambushed by the Brits earlier. Various accounts give different equiptment that was sent by the Germans in that action. But all acounts say there were two AFV's sent.

The Cafe Gondree was the first building liberated in France.

This is one of my favorite scenes.
The section of the Pegasus bridge which was scratch made by my partner and the scratch made Cafe Gondree in the background built by me.
Our one two punch is the key to our creativity in all aspects of Battle Scene Productions and we do appreciate our fans who have been their as we evolved.
Thank you for all your support through the years.
Alex and I greatly appreciate it.
Stay well.
Regards,
Nick

Mind blowing replications!! really really commendable!

We always like to push things a bit.......Many of our previous scenes were generic and that obviously made things easier in a production as involved as this. But now we are attempting to replicate exact locations along with some generic. It is making this project a nightmare to produce, but we have gotten so much feedback from schools, museums and the like as to its educational and historic value, that we feel obligated to take this path. Alex
