Well, I'm off to get a cast put on my broken wrist....so the CGA site is launching an hour early!

We at Treefrog are very excited to finally show off our months of hard work.

Changing Guard Auctions obviously isn't a multi-million dollar operation like eBay so we won't have the slick functionality or look of eBay but we are hoping that our site, tailored to the toy soldier collector, will stand on its own merit as a service to those collectors and deliver what broad-shouldered eBay can no longer give our hobby.

A toy soldier site for toy soldier collectors. It's crazy enough that it just might work

The link to the site is at the top of the page....www.changingguardauctions.com!

I am still waiting for my activation email so I am not sure what is up with that? Which raises the next question, who do you contact for tech support issues?

Thanks for the site Pete, but more important I hope that your wrist is OK. :(

This is an issue we had in testing...many Spam filters snag the activation e-mail. If you don't have it, e-mail us and we'll get it taken care of.

I need to teach the staff how to do some of these things, so be a bit patient with us

For now, just contact Shannon or Mandi.

Very nice site, Peter. You and your folks are to be highly commended. Thank you for giving us this great alternative.

Congratulations, I look forward to using the site in due course.

Best of luck with the new venture.

The site looks good, Pete, congratulation!
It will be interesting to see how it is accepted.

Great job Peter and Shannon. I just posted my first AUCTION!
Everthing worked perfect. I hope it gets going and takes off for you and your team

Pete,

Is there a way to see who the members are.

There is no direct way to do it...but if you go to the messenging area, it allows you to choose who to send a message to with a drop down list of the members, so you can see it there.

Just registered with no problems. Looking forward to using it.
Mike

Do most members use their forum names for user ID or make a new name? I registered under a different user ID. I don't know if that is correct or else I screwed up.

I have used my forum name, but I don't think it is a requirment John.
