Here's some pics of my Figarti V-1 and V-2 Base, it has a few K & C and NMA models added to the mix.

Nice models and display Oz. Keep getting tempted, but space is an issue for me. Or rather, display space poses no issues for me, but the wife thinks otherwise.

Thanks Simon, I recently acquired several custom made display cases so space is no longer the issue it was, money is a different matter with the current economy and family issues.

Here's the top shelf of another display case with part of my North Africa display. I had the cabinets made about Five Foot high so I could put taller items on the top shelf such as the Dept 56 Palm Trees pictured here. With Six Foot high cabinets the top shelf is to high for practical viewing unless you play professional Basketball ;)

Yep, the 88 mm is Collectors Showcase and closer to 1/25 scale but it will do until K & C bring out another 88 mm which I'm sure they will.

I got some ordinary white blackboard chalk and went over the following three models to give them a Winter look. From the left is my NMA Summer Sturm Tiger, K & C Winter Hummel and the small K & C halftrack sometimes pictured towing the Rammjager. I substituted the K & C Luftwaffe figure with a NMA figure from one of their Schimmwagen sets, he is wearing camo and has a cigarette and looks more apt in a Winter scene.

Here's my Honour Bound Barkmann Panther after it received the Chalk Camo treatment. The good thing with ordinary chalk is that it will wash off in running water leaving the model as good as new. The camera flash reflection has made it appear brighter than it actually is.

Thanks for the response guys. Here's my HB Winter Bergepanther about to hook up to the Damaged Panther.

Some K & C BoB models with a HB Field Kitchen (Gray) that I also Winterized with chalk I 'borrowed' from the missus. The cook is warm enough with his sleeves rolled up as he has been slaving over a hot stove all day.

I intend to put a white base on my winter shelves to boost the display appeal. Initially I was going to use some fluffy white material that Brett from The Military Workshop recommended. I can't recall what particular name he called it, it could have been 'flock' but I may have misheard his response to one of my quips

Anyway, the Germans have captured some GI's which are being loaded into the RSO for transport to Col Klink's Stalag where I'm sure they will escape from in short time :) The cooking pot near the Fire Pit was stolen from a 6" Toybiz Travelling Bilbo figure.

From the freezing Battle of the Bulge scene we move to a summery day under an Oak Tree where some famous SS Commanders are arguing over who's turn it was to provide the pate. Behind the tree you will notice the NMA Summer 8 Rad Armoured Car. I have the three different versions of this model and it is a real bargain, especially from Treefrog where they are on sale.

Okay, I had to play with the chalk thing, but only found one winter item to use it with; W. Britain's Hold to the last Round set (the helmet).

Cool CH, you can try it on any vehicle to see how it looks, it washes off real easy.
