Thanks Harry,so back on track, any idea roughly when we may hear from Matt re any new range release?
Rob
You'll hear from me right now about our new range (see, how's THAT for service!). I would pretty accurately estimate about T minus 28 days and counting to announcement and pre-order.......
Alright, I'll throw in my 2 cents, I've also begun to reset my course to include FL. the latest sets are too much for my Love of military art, aka: weak will, the tough part is what to give up? I can't just keep accumulating and some tough choices are ahead. Looks like my K&C Naps will go. And if they go WWII, the casualties in my collection could be quite heavy.
Matt has the perfect marketing scheme, better quality at about the same price, I've seen it happen in other hobbies and it's an unstoppable force.
(it happened in Baseball cards ala Upper Deck)
so now the question becomes where to start? catch up with the older stuff or just grab hold of this train as it comes by???

Well Jeff, I sure hope Matt gets to the Peninsula campaign before any of the eight campaigns in Italy. I was not aware of any Italian units that fought shirtless though? That's what you meant, right?Ray, I thought about this as well As to where to start..........Shirtless Italians of course!
Jeff
Harry, would you be tempted by any future FL WW2 stuff do you think?

Oh, it's the ONLY part of this that is truly enjoyable!
Seriously, though, with all of our ranges, we have one basic design principle. For better or worse, in term of topic, composition, and quality, we design what we ourselves would want to collect. Essentially, and don't feel slighted by this, I design for ME and I just hope you guys end up liking it too!
Of course, now that all of you guys have shown such interest in us doing WWII, I guess we should actually come up with a range. Up to now, I've just been tossing this BS out there as disinformation, but now I think we probably really should create a WWII range!! Who knew there was so much interest in it?!?
I certainly can't fault the results so what, whatever the principle. I also certainly can see the passion behind the quality of your work. Now, if I can just change your mind just a wee bit about the exploits giving rise to such colorful names as the "Diehards", the "Cherry Pickers", the "Holly Boys", the "Surprisers", the "Roast and Boil", the "Emperor's Chambermaids", the "Young Eyes", the "Old Eyes", the "Resurrectionists", the "Fighting 5th", the "Bloody 11th", the "Silver Tailed Dandies", the "Firms", the "Rories, the "Old Stubborns", the "Ragged Brigade", the "Honey Suckers", the "Steelbacks", the "Bloodsuckers", "Halkett's Green Germans", the "Death or Glory Men" and, of course, the "Aigle Catchers".Oh, it's the ONLY part of this that is truly enjoyable!
