The Standard & The Second half of the 2009 Catalogue (2 Viewers)

Confusion on club figures, the member figures are not new, they are the 2009 figures, they are coming back in stock in limited amounts to give a second chance is the way I understand it, what am I missing here?

There are new special club figures coming out that are separate order figures, not membership figures.

We have done a good job confusing everyone this issue:

The 2009 figure will indeed be back in stock in October

Two new club exclusive figures - a 24th Foot Matte Figure and Glossy Redcoats 42nd Highlander Tel-el-Kebir have also been shown and announced

And finally on page 4 the new membership figures for 2010 have been
announced but not shown.

As surmised, we are working to get images of the new 2010 membership figures as well as the 2009 Christmas set to you either in the catalog or on a special club flyer in later September.

should have read - 2009 CLUB Memerbship figures will be back in stock in October.

They announced 5 new membership club figures for 2010 check Craig's listing of them on post No 1 of this thread. And yes they're the new special club figures you've mentioned.
 
The 2010 club figures have been announced in the new standard they just haven't got photos of them yet, the 2009 figures have also been restocked.
 
See, I cant read without pictures, college edumacation and all.........:D
 
Has everyone received the lastest edition of the Standard? I am still waiting for mine along with the Christmas voucher.

The Standard went out in the US yesterday. It is printed in the UK and after a few delays was shipped here only to be held in customs for 10 days! Ugh.

It is true that Mark Avery was let go in an effort to control costs at the club -bringing many of his UK specific duties in house at our UK offices. This alleviated some duplication of facilities and efforts.

We have included a special surprise with each issue as a thank you for your patience with this delay.

I am in the midst of writing a new series of articles for the 2010 Standard that will give you all a peek behind the scenes here at W. Britain.

No Standard today for me. Has anyone rec'd 50012c British 24th advancing yet? If not any idea when it will be shipped.

I get Standard 10 days ago(one good thing more when you live in Europe :D:D)
And it is very good reading,interwievs,...and of course a chance to get a free Surgeon set!!!! for reward.Two people can get this set for free if they will be draw.
It is also a nice article about the Surgeon,...well Standard always make my day beautyfull when it is arrive.
The club figures are great, i will order a Bugler for sure,but since i join in September i can re-order my membership in next september 2010 so i will wait long time to get my free figure.
I hope they will not sold out!!!!

No, i didnt get my 50012C too,but i did get a standard magazine ten days ago,so i think they didnt make them yet.....
Maybe we will get them next year,because soon it will be holidays......
My british soldiers are strugling and they sure will need reinforcements as soon is posible.....:D:D:D:p
 
Sorry guys - at the risk of sounding like a broken record - 50012C is in a shipment in the UK being X-rayed by UK customs and in the US is delayed at port on the west coast. This time of year it all gets jammed up and that is what we are hitting. So, they should be shipping the first week in January.

Thanks Richard for all the info you provide us with. I placed an order for this figure, but I am not sure if it went through or not. I haven't seen any charges on my credit card. Do you charge when it is ready to ship?

In every transaction I have ever made directly with Wm Britain, my credit card was charged only when the item I ordered shipped.
