The Sudan Campaigns 1880-98 (1 Viewer)

I have sort of given up hope on ever seeing this era (also NWF) done in some depth with this degree of quality. :(

This guy looks absolutely fantastic, though at close to $200 once all is squared, he is truly out of my current price range as well. Big huge bummer.

It's a good thing I am not a toy soldier manufacturer as I'd go broke making obscure and lovely figures that nobody wants to purchase.

Honestly, very nice looking item here. :)

That realy is a very sharp looking figure , as noted its expensive
but I.m still sorely tempted to sacrifice some other wants to get it .
I also hope that a regular range is released , fingers crossed and all that :) .

Hi Guys,

Anyone in the UK have any more information on this figure? Date of release sold out etc would be helpful. I took a look at the MKL Website and cant find it. Its really a sharpe looking set and I would love to get one!

Thanks for the help guys.

I spoke to the nice young lady on the Britains stand at last months London show and I believe it was around September/October time.

Hi Jeff

Thanks for the information. I will see if I can still get my hands on one of these. I am still waiting for another limited edition to come out but this one is a must have.

All the best

If this is meant to be a kick-off of a new series it would be wiser, imho, to make it available to as many people as possible. This is bound to cause some frustration here and there.
The figure looks wonderful though. Detail is excellent.

Wonderful figure..as you said it's frustrating that it's only limited to 200..i'll never get it..agree with Mister Dave..we can start a toy soldier company of our own with ranges as Sikh Wars - North West Frontier - Sudan Campaigns..

Fantastic figure, however, in this economy there is no way I am spending $200 on figure, simply too much money. How about some matt figures for the normal prices.

Remember that although Britains is making the firgure, it is being commisioned by The Guards Toy Soldier Centre. So I would assume that WB has not control over the price or the subject matter.

I've just started collecting the Britains Zulu War figures and to say I'm desperate for a Sudan War range is an under statement ;):D

Jeff

I'm not sure, I may have said this before, but could the 24th foot not be painted up for the Sudan campaign?

I know a guy who loves to paint :rolleyes::D:D:D:D

Well it's been over ten weeks now and rather quiet, so...........;)

Jeff
I'm betting on Khartoum, because of the choice made for the Ltd. Edition, They would be fine with me because it has the camel corps.

Randy

Well another month has passed and still no hint of when the new Sudan range will be released? ;)
