The Sudan Campaigns 1880-98 (2 Viewers)

If only there really were some matte WB Sudan figures to buy.
Let's keep are fingers crossed. Have you bought the WB glossy Sudan?

Randy

I intend to check them out when I'm next at MKL

Cheers

Martyn:)

I wonder if there will be a hint of whats to come at the Chicago show?

Jeff

It has already been distributed in the UK according to Craig who received his the other day. In the US it will likely be another few weeks before we see it.

The Standard came out he doesn't have the catalogue yet Randy.

I misunderstood his thread title. Thus we may not see the catalog until Fall:(

Here is Ken's response from Craigs thread

Hi All!
I just wanted to let you know that the work for the catalog is just being wrapped up and we are already working on the next go around for Spring.

As always we will have the second half catalog in time for the OTSN show and that should include the images of the Club figures too.
I am pretty sure that there should be something for everyone.
Thanks for your patience!
Ken Osen

Well,
I hate to stir the pot, and it isn't like we already have plenty to do but... I would personally love to do a small range of Highlanders for Tel-el-Kabir in Matte. I had fun doing the two in Classic Gloss for the club and the catalog.
It would at least be a start eh?
Ken

You may well regret that statement Ken. Stirring up the natives is very dangerous don't you know, especially where matte Sudan is concerned

How about using the Museum Collection Series as a sort of matte version of the redcoats ?

We are already part way there with the MC BW 1882 figure. He just needs some friends to make a square. I'd like to see white helmets though.

Sounds good Craig, the 1st camel set is not out yet though is it?

Not sure Scott the 1st one has been advertised for a while now but dont think it is out yet i could be mistaken though so dont quote me

I checked the MKL site and they show it as November with the stretcher arriving in March 2010. No pics of either though :(

Scott ive just checked the standard & it gives a release date for the 2nd one as march 2010 but doesn't list one for the 1st figure so it might be out now!?!!

ahh november not to far away then? are you planing on getting them?

Probably not, not really my cup of tea. The one coming out in November does look very nice but has a hefty price tag.
I also have all the new Durbar stuff coming out in the next 3 months, so that will take all of my funds along with the 2 model zone AZW releases. I also may dabble in WWI, Napoleonics and some ACW :)

It looks like you should be singing my theme song . . . "I owe, I owe, so its off to work I go . . . . . I owe, I owe" :D:p;)
