I have a Great idea my friend everytime you say "No Waffen SS" or "I give up" put ten bucks in a pot and when First Legion do product some Waffen SS figures you will have enough money to buy Multiples and the price won't even put a dent :wink2: .. It is what it is.If enough people can afford these prices then the hobby will do good.If not then the prices will have to come down but I think that would mean less choices and poorer quality.

I have a similar reaction Mark. While I would rather prices were lower, that is not up to me. The price that First Legion sets is what they can get as far as a fair market value. Some people will like that concept, some will not. Personally, I feel the prices are fine for the range I collect, so it is not really an issue to me.

Your last line is right on as well. If prices have to go up a little bit in order for First Legion to offer a greater variety of ranges and subsequent releases, then that is what will happen. I would rather pay a couple bucks more per figure and have greater variety than pay less with fewer choices of what to collect.

I am always one who doesn't like the recent pricing for all manufacturers. However, this series, if the helicopter and duster apppear, would be an easier sell for me.

I have saved a little to buy some of the Vietnam figures by K&C , but thinking twice about it , i decided for the moment to satiate my hunger for vietnam by spending on some books and a figure by FL (the M60 gunner), in time due i'll buy the K&C figures...we all know that the figures by FL are taken from Platoon..but who's who? I'd love to have a Elias (Daniel Dafoe) figure..he is my favourite , but for the moment i did not identified him in the figures...what about the rest? I'll try to couple figures with the character they portray. Obviously VN001 is Sgt. Barnes (Tom Berenger)

Lt. Wolfe (Mark Moses) is (in my opinion) VN003 or probably VN005. Tha pose and face of VN003 are what you could expect from an officer, but the "eyes" on the helmet are those of the helmet of Wolfe in the movie. You have to choose...

"King" (Keith David) is VN009 , he carries the M60 in the fight in the forest just before Elias is abandoned..

The last identified is Sgt. Red O'Neill (John C. McGinley) , for me is VN007...but i'm not sure about this one. There is another character carrying moustaches and after all a Sgt. carrying a radio?...i'd go with the other character..but i can't find the name..he dies in the fight in the forest..
