The Vietnam War Official Announcement and Pre-Order!!! (2 Viewers)

Very cool figures , Congratulations to collectors who have been waiting for these , Becks comes to mind . Although not a line I have a collecting interest in , It will be nice to watch this line grow from afar . I'm really happy for fellow collectors of quality figures another hit in the making from FL . Regards Gebhard

Nice new FL releases. Lucky collectors of these ranges to see such unique sets!

I, for one, am waiting on Agincourt which I assume is not too far behind... I can hear that French cavalry thunder already... can't wait!!! :)

I have to give ot to Matt......He hears us regarding scale, proportion and now venturing into a product that manufacturers have only dabbled in, because ot their fear of sales.

I have to give support to this company, because they are innovative and they are listening.

It is time for me to make hard collecting decisions. I have said this before, but I am down to the wire now. The other manufacturers continue to do a great job also, but the whole package is here. Alex

I love the figures and will buy a few, but I do agree they would be even better if not so clean, especially the boots.

The sergeant with the CAR-15 looks ALOT like Sgt. Barnes. I wonder if he has the scars?:wink2: -- Al
Took a closer look at the photos of the figure and it appears there is some prominent scarring on the right side of the face. It sure looks like Staff Sgt. Robert Barnes to me.^&cool -- Al

After a few days now I made up my mind and I will be getting these figures.
I also want to use this post to applaud Ken Osen who built the magnificent base and backdrop for the promotional photo. Beautiful work {bravo}}

Fantastic looking figures! FL soldiers coupled w/ Ken Osen's work, well that's a perfect complimentary combination indeed!

Is that Sgt. Barnes? I'm thinking of platoon when I look at those pieces...

Produce the Huey and I am officially in. You just can't do Vietnam justice without a Huey.

About to preorder 2 of the figs tomorrow:p:p:p VN001 and VN002!!! Extremely excited for this range!

notice the prices??? Now @ 64.95 a figure! UNREAL!! AND STILL NO WAFFEN SS!!
I GIVE UP!

I wanted to collect this series but not at these prices. You would think that with the recession in Europe and the Chinese economy slowing down prices could back off a little.
I collect Asian antiques as well and have found some great deals and much more reasonable pricing in general. Value is in the eye of the beholder and I suppose demand will ultimately establish pricing levels.
Its really not a matter of what I can afford but more what I think a military figure is worth. FL's quality is great but there is a limit on what we pay for a hobby.

I really don't collect any lines anymore.I have figure kits That I'm having painted but slowly.I can't afford to go to large scale collecting anymore as it just eats up too much money.FL figures are very nice but the prices are rising too fast to collect large scale and that goes for most of the manufacturers.
