There are currently north of 11,000 King & Country items listed on Ebay; the comically high/are you kidding me prices are generally from one seller, no surprise there.
The values on WWII figures and vehicles are much lower now than they used to be, 200.00 for the elephant is about right, vehicles go generally in the 150.00 to 250.00 neighborhood, wonder what he paid for the Kelly's Heroes Tiger, those used to go for stupid money.
Key word there is used.
As with anything, it's all about supply and demand, I had someone a while ago come to me with a large K & C WWII collection, your typical WS/DD/BBA/BBG assortment, made an offer, never heard back from the seller.
My offers are based on what I think/know I can sell items for, minus selling fees, not even factoring in my TIME, either my time in going to pick up the collection or laying it all out, inspecting it, sorting, it, cataloging it, listing it on Ebay/sending out lists to customers.
My TIME is worth something, but try telling sellers that.
