Things that annoy me (12 Viewers)

I actually couldn't believe this one. Spain apparently allowed a healthy 25-year-old woman to be "euthanized." She apparently suffered from mental illness and her father tried to intervene on her behalf, but they still allowed her to die. We are living in a different age.

The Dodgers were selling a $74 Ohtani soda cup at the games. When they were criticized, they lowered the price to $68.99.

There's a bit more to the story, she had suffered mental health issues unsurprisingly after bring raped by her boyfriend and then gang raped by a group of men, after which she tried committing suicide throwing herself from a building, but ending up as a paraplegic.
A very sad tale, there are further details for anyone interested in looking.

Hegseth’s intervention in Kid Rock flyby fiasco is part of a more serious problem

Even Donald Trump conceded on Monday that the helicopter pilots “probably shouldn’t have been doing it” since “you’re not supposed to be playing games, right?”

Hegseth dismissed it all with the ultimate "Monopoly get out of jail free card"

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Tuesday abruptly reversed the suspension of Army crews that piloted two Apache helicopters close to the musician Kid Rock’s residence in Nashville over the weekend.

Mr. Hegseth appeared to end both the suspensions and the investigation, with a social media post on Tuesday night declaring:

‘No punishment. No investigation. Carry on, patriots.’

To me this is wasted news. Honestly I don’t really care about this, to me this is a reprimand and then move on. If I was Kid Rock, I would think it was cool too.

cool...yea okay...cool...wasted news...

an unauthorized deviation from your flight plan...maybe accidently hit a commercial plane by and kill 100 people...doesn't sound too bright to me...

not even a reprimand...not even an investigation...

cool...

Ther was an investigation by the army. They were then suspended, which has now been lifted to time served. In the grand scheme of happenings, this has now gone past the radar and no longer news. It is pretty clear they violated protocol with that stunt, that said what do you do to them? I dont know the answer to that as i am not in charge of them nor have knowledge. As a citizen however, it is over and done with.

And if it was my house, see an apache in the sky is a pretty cool sight in my opinion.

The Lakers were completely demolished by OKC last night. One of the most brutal beatdowns that I can remember. It was like men against boys. Outmatched. Hopeless. And Luka was injured. Brutal. OKC looks unbeatable. I don't know a single player on their team, though.

I was thinking about going to a Dodgers game this weekend in DC but the ticket prices in the upper deck are over $200. Unreal. I can stay home and watch on TV for free saving myself the grief of DC traffic and possible carjacking. All the more amazing because on the very few occasions that I've ever watched a Nationals game, half the stadium is empty. You can almost see the tumbleweed blowing through the stands.

woooooah....18 turnovers...almost 5 minutes in the first quarter before the Lakers even scored their first point...I watched the first quarter on Prime...then tuned out and checked the score on my phone a few times til I totally threw in the towel...unfortunately they play OKC again on April 7th at home...OKC is TOUGH!

That was humbling. If you are going to lose, you might as well lose big. Maybe getting blown out lights a fire under them. I'm trying to be optimistic. LOL. I've been surprised the Lakers have been playing as well as they have. Absent Luka, I doubt they would even sniff the playoffs with this team.

I miss my childhood days of Magic and Kareem. Still can name the entire roster during from 79 to 90, have fond memories watching the NBA on Sunday. Always thought Magic was the epitome of cool, had a Great Aunt who lived in Arcadia and loved the Lakers, always sent me gear as presents. Then I got a second wave of Kobe, Shaq and Horry. Still love Shaq, the man who should have the highest shooting percentage in history since he loved the dunk. Also has the lowest free throw percentage in history!
