After watching the latest AOC video on YouTube where she claims billionaires did not actually earn their money, I've come to the conclusion that she is the Rachel Zegler of politics.

It popped up on my feed; she's like a car crash, I just can't help but look/watch/listen.

So Billionaires did not earn their money, they stole it/worked the system according to her.

Her and the host of the podcast she was on were two halfwits who combined wouldn't make one fullwit.

My Greek Grandfather came to this country with literally the clothes on his back, build from nothing a hugely successful produce business, also purchased a sh#t ton of real estate/land and bought numerous blue chip stocks, I suppose he didn't earn any of his money either then.

She's a far left socialist loon who has an IQ two above plant life.

I can't stand her, I loathe her, a vapid imbecile who knows next to nothing about foreign policy or anything else for that matter, yet she's wildly popular with 20 something morons who worship the ground she walks on.

I have less than zero use for Sanders/AOC/Warren, three socialist loons, all three are millionaires, none of whom ever started a successful business or worked for anyone who did, career political empty suit hacks.

Can you imagine her running the country; over and out, we'd be done forever.

I had to explore the AOC item further even though it is a waste of my time. However, I can't let her idiocy go without the following business lesson. What I am about to share is a REAL world example that is happening today, it is a factual case.

Her claim that no one can legitimately earn $1Billion. Well, guess what sports fans at home, you can and here is how. There are simple real estate deals going on today in certain States and here are the facts (these are real numbers). Developer approaches family land owner to purchase 1100 acres of farmland. Developer overpays (notice this word) market value 10 fold. This land is usually valued at $1k-2K per acre. So $2.2M, Developer pays $22M. Developer then goes on to expend another $5M in development costs for a certain type of project. Developer then is approached by the Final Stage Developer Entity (Usually an operator/owner/builder) who offers $1.1B for the 1100 acres. YES, you read correctly. End of day - profit of over $1B.

So AOC fans - pretty easy to debunk her idiotic claim. What I described above is only 1 transaction at the optimum level on all fronts. How many of these transactions happen albeit at a lower amount DAILY? Answer - more than we can count. Point being - there are millionaires and billionaires made every day in real estate. 100% Legit. No cheating, no funny business, just straight simple transaction because someone has a risk/reward tolerance that pays off.

Again, my question is this, how is someone so DUMB elected.

There's no doubt she is a stone idiot. So having said that I sorta give her a pass because "she knows not what she speaks". But the other 2 sanders and pocahontas are as hillary would say "deplorable". Those two when I just see them makes my blood pressure rise. At least now I don't have to see 2 more of my favorites, jasmine crockett & al green, those 2 from Texas who lost their seats. But then again that rising star mamdani is taking their place.

Reminds me of when Obama said people who own a business "you didn't build that" during a 2012 speech. My wife's aunt and uncle worked their business from 7 in the morning until 1am everyday 5 days a week 52 weeks a yr. They would take turns going home during the day to rest and work around the house.

Another post that truly captures American economics.

As a small business owner for over 25 years I just laugh at the Republican and Democratic leadership on the local, state and especially the federal level.

They stay in power via lies and campaign rhetoric, Obama, Biden, Trump, and whoever the next guy is.

They get elected on our backs and hard work while never fulfilling any of their promises.

Small business is the middle class of corporate America.

It's staggering to say someone who's a billionaire did not actually earn that money, they basically got it by using cheap labor sources, getting around regulations and being dishonest...........so Facebook and Amazon got to where they are through dishonesty, as did Oprah, Michael Jordan, etc, etc.

Talk about tone deaf, she really is something else.

Imagine a 2032 Mamdani/AOC ticket.

I think we can safely rule Mamdani out since he can't constitutionally ever become president not being born in the US. My best guess is that it is Newsom with a female VP. Maybe AOC or Abrams. A strong anti-Trump TDS ticket that has a better than even chance of winning. Maybe 60% or more of voters fall into that category. The midterms will be a bloodbath for republicans. Not because the Dems have anything to offer but because of the complete hive-like solidarity to opposing all things Trump. And he often doesn't do himself any favors.
 
Savannah, Georgia. Just got back from there. Beautiful city and people. I'm struck by how much nicer people are there than in the NE. I know that is a generalization but the differences are profound.

I have given Trump his chance to come thru for me.

He has simply failed to fulfill his campaign promises that spoke to me.

That doesn’t mean I want a Democratic President, it means that I don’t want the next President to be a Trump 2.0, trying to emulate his leadership style and policies.

I think the Republican Party can do better.

IF Detroit and the Knicks advance, watch the officiating in that series and how slanted it will be towards the Knicks; a Knicks/Spurs or Knicks/OKC match up would be great for ratings, all those mouth breathing Knicks fans who stampede into the streets after each win looking to burn down the city vs the Pistons getting in?

The NBA would never allow it to happen.

Plus who wouldn't want to see that multiple academy award winning actor Ben Stiller mugging it up on camera in the finals or that midget Spike Lee?

Just awesome, can't wait not to watch.
