Things that I really like (3 Viewers)

Remember the weapons of mass destruction. Ok, there were not in Iraq, but they were in Syria being stored away from UN eyes. However, the WaPost has never quite reported the rest of the story beyond the headline that Bush and Cheney found no weapons in Iraq. Notice, they never said they didn't exist.....................I am not going into that story any further as it is a rabbit hole, but I can tell you I believe in the facts I have been told first hand about that debacle. The devil is always in the details with today's press reporting.

On another note - see 60Minutes transcript debacle. One of the most respected news programs of modern times just admitted they are shiiite.

Well said TD, 60 Minutes has been dead to me ever since the Dan Rather hit job on George Bush, i.e. the " fake, but accurate Texas Air National Guard documents" about GW's performance and attendance records during his service in the Texas ANG. This was going on about the same time as the WMD story. The records that Dan Rather swore were authentic, were actually computer generated. I'm no big fan of GW, but given the choice between him and either Al "the planet has a fever" Gore or John "Fraud" Kerry, well let's just say GW was the lesser of three evils!

There are tons of waste in the federal agencies, even Clinton and Obama admitted it and and tried to do something about it. The story of Hamas getting condoms may be false but the Taliban got them. If you notice the countries getting this so called aid aren't complaining a bit. Now I hear a judge has blocked DOGE from going into the treasury. Who in the hell do these judges think they are? The American people want these departments/agencies checked.
Mark
Yes, Clinton and Gore got rid of a **** ton of government waste, Obama tried as well, so this is not something new being done by a dictator like people are making it out to be.

Give up the ghost and just go with it, three years, 11 months and 1 week more of continuous whining, no thanks.

I'll still take him 7 days a week and twice on Sunday over Harris, she popped up in CA speaking about the wildfires....................spouting nonsense from her 500 word vocabulary, then she and her husband were spotted at a Lakers game in the 200th row in the nosebleed section.

What a has been; more like a never was.
Me too, but in my opinion we should hold everyone to the same standard. I had enough of the lies during COVID. There are enough crazy policies to stick to the facts.

"Heart Eyes" a good rom-com/slasher movie. A strange combo but it works.

The Alaska Airlines flight attendant who repeatedly throat punched a passenger who went nuts and refused to stop pulling the hair of the passenger seated in front of him.

Just a reminder this is a "Things I Really Like" thread guys. Calm down the political talk please.
As many of you know, when I start deleting posts, they all go!

Luka! The Lakers put an NBA All-Star like beatdown on the Jazz. That was like watching the Harlem Globetrotters trounce the Washington Generals. Granted the Jazz are one of the worst teams in the league but a great start. Another 130+ point game.

Redick on Luka: “When he’s willing, he’s a much better defender than he was early in his career.“

There's a ringing endorsement if ever there was one; if that's the best Redick can come up with during the honeymoon phase of that trade/heist, then yikes.

He had to do it all in Dallas. And took them to the NBA finals. In LA, he doesn't have to carry the team. Lost in all the Luka-mania is that the supporting cast has been playing lights out. Reaves had 45 points in the previous game playing without LeBron. I love hearing about the fans in Dallas being thrown out of games for raging at the GM and coaches.

I really enjoy seeing people have to deal with their small children at formal events where the kids really shouldn't be in the first place. Musk and his kid in the Oval Office. The kids always steal the show. Musk's kid was busy picking his nose for several minutes while standing next to Trump. At one point he was on the floor. If you have ever been a parent, you've been there and done that.

That "trade' was a complete heist, imagine if the Celtics had traded Jason Tatum for "street clothes"; Boston fans would have acted like Philly fans and burned the city to the ground, for the Dallas GM not to shop him to the entire league is malpractice, he should be fired on the spot for that moronic, boneheaded trade even if Luka is a traffic cone on defense..........actually, a traffic cone could probably play better defense.

Marc Fogel getting released. It took far too long but good to see get done. The cycle of American citizens being arrested under various pretexts to get something in return has to stop.

I see that the second book in Rick Atkinson's Revolutionary War trilogy ("Fate of the Day") is finally coming out. It's been a long wait but the release date is in April.
