Does anyone have these and can add pics?

They look really good and I love how they are in resting/preparing to charge poses! Never seen a company make more than one horsemam of the same Regiment 'At Rest'.

Excellent!

I don't have these but they look really nice.

I like the poses, for me they show the moment when the officer draws his sword, the trumpeter sounds command, the NCO looks down the line steading his troopers who at the ready prepare for attack. I could see a long line of these fine fellows adding quality to any serious Napoleonic collection, and at only 119 they are quite the bargain. regards Gebhard

I have these, including some multiples. They are,as you expect from FL,very well sculpted, painted and detailed. The horses are well done, most important with cavalry. This unit saw extensive service in the Peninsula War,distinguishing themselves at Salamanca and were very active at Waterloo as part Of Vandeleur's Light Brigade. As they were released some time ago their price is now comparable with recent releases from other manufacturers, which makes them good value in my opinion. It may be that they didn't sell well because they are not in action poses, but I think they very suitable for a number of types of diorama eg.as someone has suggested, preparing to charge,on patrol or scouting(which is what light cavalry did mostly) or escorting a supply train or prisoners(if some manufacturer would provide us with some-lots of period paintings showing this).Overall I am very happy with these figures.

I am seriously considering them now, even cleared a space, only issue I have is a question of whether or not FL are going to bring out a 12 Light Dragoon Standard bearer at rest or not?

Anyone know?

Sure, I know. :smile2:

No, we are not because the unit didn't have it's standard at Waterloo.

Best,

Matt

No British heavy cavalry "standards" (square) or light cavalry "guidons" (swallow tailed) were carried during the Waterloo campaign.
