a guy is selling this on Ebay...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330711684309

this is not a King & Country piece right...

it's a Del Prado isn't it......

http://www.hobbybunker.com/products...henry-vs-standard-bearer-agincourt-1415-11592

Sir John Codrington, Henry V's standard bearer Agincourt 1415...
Item Number: SME001

they sell brand new between $12.95 on Ebay occassionally and at $19.95 at most stores...

he has it advertised as a K&C piece...

I think it's the Del Prado...

am I wrong?

I believe you are right. Its a ploy to attract people in most times and put it in with K&C title. I have seen lots and lots recently with K&C's name attached from TG to britains

As you probably know Michael quite a few sellers add "Trophy" to the title of their glossy sets on Ebay to get more interest

Cheers

Martyn:)

I sometimes use different manufacturer's names in the title...but only so it will show up in their search...

in other words...

I might say "goes great with JJD"........ if I'm selling a FIW figure from a different manufacturer...

but I will always identify the figure in my title and also give as much of a detailed description in my ad...

this guy just blatantly refers to this as a genuine K&C piece...

"KING & COUNTRY HAND PAINTED MOUNTED MEDIEVAL KNIGHT TOY SOLDIER IN ORIGINAL BOX"

"Up for auction is "retired" King & Country 1/32 scale mounted medieval knight toy soldier with flag. Toy soldier by King & Country, in excellent condition in the original box."

tell you what...I would be mad if I bought it and ask for my money back!!!!

There's a difference advertising it as compatible with K&C as opposed to saying it is K&C and listing it at 4 times the retail price.

Terry

I sent him an email...he was very polite...he said he was selling for a friend that sent it to him in a K&C box...a very nice guy...

Just wanted to add that I have purchased from this gentlemen (Pope52) on e-Bay and have always found him to be an Honest and Friendly person. I notice maybe two or three mis-labeled figures each week from all sorts of folks.

Hey, it happens when you don't eat, sleep, and breath Toy Soldiers like we do. -- Larry
