Painting skills terrible, so no Mike. Purchased the two side statues at Vatican City over Easter and the two side columns at Pompeii. The Pompeii ruins are amazing and are a must if you ever get to Naples. Robin.

Classic building, superb figures, nicely done. Regards Greg.

nice Robin...
did you paint the map...
cool touch!

The figure of Marc Anthony is an Andrea Miniatures kit SR-03
SR-03-01.jpg

and I painted one for a local collector, but finished it in gloss, as he requested.

Yes, I did the cartography on this one, the map on Robins is a multi-colored map, which I don't think was invented in 1 BC !!!!!!

Robin, looks like you were keeping a lookout amongst the tourist souvenirs for pieces that would fit in with your dioramas. Good idea, I must keep an eye out for stuff next time I go abroad Like your She wolf with the babies Romulus and Remus under her.
Teddy bears etc dressed up as Guardsmen and miniature Red Telephone boxes being the sort of stuff you can pick up here doesn't inspire me much !^&grin

Well done Robin. I'm doing a bridge scene too at the moment but won't be as grand as yours. If it turns out okay I might include it in our diorama night in July. Regards Greg.

Looks good Robin although I'm wondering what Rommel did with his "Greif"??? :wink2:

Tom

I think the bridge here Robin is my favourite of your Jacob dioramas. Always impressed with it every time I see it ! :salute::
