Thanks Tom, your comments alone could keep me motivated indefinitely {sm4}. Love to set up, hate packing up. The diorama's usually have a short life, just a few hours before the dining table is returned to it's correct function. Robin.

First of all congrats on the diorama display, the halftracks are just great.......As to the fact that the dioramas have a short life...I know how it feels....same happens with me....wish I could have a garage just for me!!!!{sm3}

Hi Robin, what can you tell me about the german trains you used in the diorama ?

cheers
Marc

Hi Marc, just ordered another 3 engines & assorted carriages. Fully motivated at the moment to make a German armoured train to use with my V series. They are on ebay generally around $50-$80 for a set (engine, coal tender and 2 carriages ). They are not electric which makes them cheap. They can run if you wish as they are battery and have sound. Look for echo brand. I am getting a set being a Polar express and will have my painter camo it for me. The steam engine spans my Western series (Custer), Sudan, Light Horse and course WW11. Hope this helps. Robin.

Some ideas for you Marc, Robin.

Thanks Jeff, yes you picked it, that Nile limber fits nicely with the JJD horse, made to order. Love these Heritage mounted figures. Would like Britain's to do some mounted figures instead of endless foot Zulu.{sm4}, Robin.

I'll go along with this Robin as long as they are Hussars for the WAN range! :wink2:^&cool
