Tree,s. (1 Viewer)

Hi Wayne

On the positive side the smaller tree would work for say 1.72 scale or as a bush in 1.30th.

But on the larger tree though I've tried similar, I haven't been satisfied with the result as I thought the branches are not widening out enough lower down and makes it look unnatural to me, though that depends on what sort of tree you're trying to portray of course and unfortunately I can't think of a way around that problem that would be satisfactory and have eye appeal.
Still, Good luck with your experiments and hope you come up with a good solution and do please let us all know if you come up with one !

All the Best

Wonderful, great realism!{bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}

Very good!

As far as the small tree goes, yes, it's a small tree in 1/30, but if you make several of them, you can mount them in a row for a section of an orchard, or a garden. But also yes, with smaller figures, it'd work well, too.

Prost!

Wayne, you did a great job on your trees. Just in the way of an observation, however, they look to be the Australian variety! ;)

I really like the real wood look. I use real twigs/branches. Most are very "limbing", in that case I will trim the length of the branches. I make sure I cover the tops of the trees with foliage. I Woodland Scenics foliage. I tease the foliage with a tweezers. It's a learning progress for all of us. Keep at it. Love your posts.
