Finally have most of the webpages up on the site--enough to officially announce that Treefrog has picked up First Legion.
Age of Rome
American Civil War
American Revolution
Crusades
and Samurai are all up with pictures.

Napoleonic is up without images. Pictures to follow tomorrow.
Plus, the First Legion newsletter was just released so there will be a lot of new products coming down the pike in addition to what we've put on the website. Check back early and often :wink2:

I've noticed several posts wondering if for some reason First Legion prices would be higher than buying direct or terms would be different for FL products than other products so just to be clear prices are the normal retail price and orders for those products are treated the same as any other order on the Treefrog website. Our usual shipping terms apply to First Legion orders - Free shipping anywhere in the US for orders of $35 or more, Free shipping worldwide for orders $250 or more, layaways (laybys) available.

Best regards,

Best regards,

Just to add to what Shannon is saying, there has also been some speculation that we will raise our retail pricing on new releases because of the addition of North American Dealers. That is not the case at all and if there are any price increases for certain new releases they will be purely cost based and have nothing to do with the figures now being sold through dealers. So Shannon is correct, the retail price of current releases remains the same regardless of who you purchase from and new releases will not suffer artificial markup due to the addition of North American Dealers!

Best,

Matt

Will you carry the WW2 line in the future?
If there's interest ^&grin
Just let us know what you'd like to see. If it's available from the manufacturer and you don't see it on our website we can still get it in for you.
We've got a soft spot for samurai lines (this is the 3rd we've picked up this year!) so we started with that and then just kept adding until we had all the products you currently see on the Treefrog website.
We often add items or lines based on what our customers ask for, so by all means let us know what you like. We are currently looking into picking up two other smaller companies' lines as well so we're keeping the subject matter of those in mind as well as we venture into First Legion's vast catalog.
Best regards,

Hi Rob,
We just put pages up for what we actually have coming in our first shipment to get the ball rolling. We will no doubt be adding more (including pages for the upcoming releases announced earlier this week, being created as we speak) and in the meantime just drop Julie a line on any pieces you want and she'll get them in for you.
Thanks for the interest!
Best regards,

I love how a thread that announces new dealers to a product gets a negative response and needs deletions.

I think its a good move for the company, but, it could also be a realisation that the way they uniquely marketed their ranges was not as productive as it could now be or, should have been. It may be a reason why they can announce four completely new ranges.

I wonder how this wider exposure will affect all the other manufacturers, if at all??
Mitch

Congrat's to our hosts i think FL will be a good line for them.Four new lines this year?Someone is doing a lot of work.I wish you the best with a great line Mike B.:D

Hi Shannon,

Looking on the First Legion Figures are very detailed as if it is alive and kicking and ready to fight. Notice in your thread, does Treefrog offer layaway payment plans for this items? If so, do you have more information on the terms of payment for the items being reserved? Thank you..a very good thread here in this forum

Respectfully,

Larry:smile2:

Hi Shannon,

very interesting news indeed and as someone who regularly reviews FL figure releases for one of the Hobby's magazines here in the UK I can testify as to what quality matte figures they are which are getting better with each individual new release.

However, could not help but notice your later comment about "looking into picking up two other smaller companies figures for Tree Frog to carry and wonder if you are able to give any clues or are the negotiations and discussions still at an early stage. Also are they matte or gloss makers and state side or this side of the pond? :wink2:

all the best

Hi Larry,
Treefrog has a very simple, user-friendly layaway program. At its most basic level, it's 20% down and the rest over 3-4 monthly payments. Feel free to contact Julie by email for more info or to set up a layaway plan. Thanks for asking! :)

Dear acw cavalry,
Well, I sealed the deal for one of the lines this week and the first product arrived in already--faster than the product images from the manufacturer or it would already be on the website! Clues for this line are that you could call it a BIG little line, or a small BIG line and for whether it is glossy or matte...it's not really either. It originates across the sea--but not your side of the pond. So far ranges include US Vietnam and WWII and as far as I know we are the only US toy soldier stockists to carry it, so we will be planning to send some out to the Heart of the South show coming up in early December for people to see it in person.
I'm assuming that the product images will come in tomorrow.
As for the second line--we're ready but the manufacturer isn't quite at the production stage yet. Stay tuned!
Best regards,
