CWS 20. Lancaster Battery in Action.

IMG_1561.JPGIMG_1563.JPGIMG_1564.JPGIMG_1565.JPGIMG_1568.JPG

The six man crew are from the H.M.S. Lancaster. The mortar was one of 27 13" mortars, 17 10" mortars and 49 32lb guns deployed along the allied forward defense line.

CWS 3. Independent Caucasian Infantry Corps.

I don't believe the wall came with the original set.

Here is CWS 3 with two additional figures (one standing and one kneeling) I received from Martyn in a trade ^&cool More is always better in this case :wink2:

Really enjoy the pics Brad! :) One slight correction, the Officer is from the 17th Lancers sans Light Dragoon. The other Lt. Dragoon cavalry that was in the Light Brigade was the 13th.

Anyone interested in the Crimean War and the famous charge should read "Hell Riders" by Terry Brighton. It analyzes what let up to the charge to the aftermath with some very interesting conclusions. :wink2:

Thanks for the comments and the likes. I really enjoy this range. Hope to have some more in a week or so :wink2:

Great thread Brad,

Makes want to get all of my Britains figures out! Might have to do that this weekend just love all the glossy figures!

Dave

Thanks Dave. Would love to see your figures so hope you get a chance to get them out.

Received this Trooper this week. I know it's from CWS 12 but don't know the specific number. Martyn, you must know ^&cool
