Trophy Elephant - India Raj Set PW1 (1 Viewer)

Yes. I bought those on ebay. Len's molds were shot by then. I think I have seen photos in one of his catalogues in the past. His range and talent is absolutely astounding. He said before he sold, out of 3000 molds, he destroyed 1000 which may have included his circus molds. Tommy

Tommy,

You collection is outstanding, I look forward to seeing more of it in the forums.

Did Len say what ranges the destroyed molds were from?

Brian

Hi Brian: He was not specific except to say the molds were bad for the circus series. I am constantly amazed about what shows up on ebay that I didn't know he produced. Tommy

Hello All: I thought you might be interested in these sets. 67 were made of each car; then Rolls Royce complained. Tommy

Martryn: I have about 15 sets. I almost bought Mike's hospital and storehouse display.Lack of room was a consideration. I will be glad to photo and post what I have. Most are older sets. Tommy

Hi Tommy

I would love to see the older sets and I know I speak for a lot of fellow Treefroggers;)

Just out of interest I bought an "Abandon the Hospital" set earlier this year from Mike.

Cheers

Martyn: I assumed that from your postings. His display had over 100 figures. If you have 900 plus AZW, you are serious. We had to take what Len would send Mike. Do you have a pontoon wagon set or a mounted patrol firing from behind their horses set? By the way, Mike collected British medals and had several relating to the AZW. I will talk to him tomorrow to see what he has left and about the catelogue. Tommy

MIke is a great guy. Like his counterpart in the UK Lyn Kenwood his method of keeping inventory is somewhat Dickensian. It is always a hot and a miss that they will know what they have in stock.
It is always a bit of a surprise what you can turn up in their storerooms

Martyn: I will check my sets tomorrow. Do you collect anything else like Boxer, Alamo, ACW, or Napoleonics? Your sets are in excellent condition. Tommy

Thank you Tommy

In the last 15 months I have been collecting RAJ, AFGHAN/NWF, SECOND BOER WAR, EGYPT and THE SUDAN and INDIAN MUTINY. I also managed to find the Battle of Buena Vista boxed set at Lynn Kenwood's

Tommy,

Found these sets. Which Indian Band Regiment are the ones you have pictured in the last photo? Do these Flagbearers belong to the same set?

picture.php

I suspect that the flag bearers are part of a separate color party set. There is probably a set marching also. I bought my set from Mike Nabasny from Atlanta and it was only the band. Tommy
