Once again my friend Damian you've provided us with another major gem from your Trophy Treasure Chest thanks for sharing it. It's a beauty and wish it had followed me home from the Dedham Show this past Sunday. I didn't leave the show by myself three Zulu Warriors followed me to my Land of The Zulus....The Lt.

I have the guy in the middle. Slightly different colors I think. He was broken so I got him for 10 bucks and after a brief stay in hospital, he is all better I am glad to say.

Be good enough my Lord General to take out your handy dandy camera and send along a photo......Your humble aide de camp ...The Lt. TF's Lt. Colonel

Three additional Officers arrived at the Lt.'s Land of The Zulus

With this figure we have tried to capture the spirit of the veteran Victorian British Officer. He has seen it all, Cawnpore `58, Peking `60 Sharpsburg `62 ("Detached foreign service, half pay don't ya' know."), Magdala `68, Afghanistan `73. It all ends today. Final posting: Natal, Southern Africa 1879. He wears the dark blue patrol jacket laced black. Foreign service cap with regimental number. He screams encouragement to his troops while ramming charges into his American made Colt New Navy Revolver.

Dear Lt
The above little description should appeal to you. It comes fro JS Deitz's website and describes his version of an officer of the 24 th regt of foot.
It is quite a good figure and many well fit in with some of your existing stuff.
Regards
Damian

If my memory serves me well Trophy molds were sold to another UK company.
Has anyone heard anything about their figures being offered again?

The molds were bought by Maison militaire in Scarborough. Ken Jackson is releasing some of the old trophy stuff in matt. So far he has done the WWI troop buses and some WWI infantry. He has not been able to resurrect the other series. He says the molds are old and not clearly marked. He has promised to get the Zulu war stuff going agian but after two years there is still no news in this regard.

Lt, that's a great set! While most of us are probably busy buying brand new stuff you seem to be digging up some nice vintage gems lately .

One might say he was all broken up about his girlfriend leaving him for a British Soldier in the 24th.:p

General,
My G-2 is telling me that your Induna is about to get a 9mm in the side from that sneaky German! Mike

But Mike and my Lord General he's got support headed his way.....The Lt.

Lt.

Outstanding fore and background! Also nice Indunas! BTW guess what was on AMC last night starring Stanley Baker and Michael Caine? Mike

Mr

It's very peculiar that this fellow on the left was seen on the West Coast at the KV hospital days before being spotted in the Land of the Zulus. I thought they could only move at upwards of 60 miles per day! Mike

Well done, a wonderful thread! And "Zulu" was just on again last night on Turner Classics, what timing!

Prosit!
