Men,
The Lt. screamed his orders while the 58th moved out of the way "Prepare to release the Lancers!" The men of the 58th Regiment manning the northeast corner of Chelmsford square at Ulundi quickly got out of the way and opened the bottom of the square.
"17th Lancers... Out and Away!" The men and officers of the Lancers bolted through the opening and went at their quarry while the 58th cheered them on. Capt. Drury-Lowe went down with a stunning shot to the head. He would be fine afterwards, knowing his men accomplished their mission. (Forgive the matte 24th waving helmet, I don't have any 58th glossy waving helmets) Mike

Great photo's 1879 and the WBrit figure fits in well noticed a couple of trophy figures I hadn't seen before along with the figure being speared while running which if I'm not mistaken isn't by Trophy. Thanks Mike for joining in.......The Lt.

I noticed the WB figure too and it does fit in well with the glossies. The lancer being thrown from his horse looks neat!!! and chance of a pic of that one (when you have time of course)
