Trophy of Wales (3 Viewers)

K V and Dave Trophy ended with 29 Hand to Hand Sets. of which sets 20,21,22,24,26,27 and 29 appear on this thread.....The Lt.

On an ealrie rthread I posted this lot attacking some K and C early Highlanders. I don't have any Trophy redcoats to oppose them and I won't do the ebay thing. Mike Norris is as we speak putting some great Sudan era highlanders together to help me hold of this lot. As Rudyard Kipling said

Heres to you Fuzzy Wuzzy
And the missus and the kids
Cos you broke a British square

very Nice figures Damian ,makes me wish I had more trophy in my own collection ,
I always think of dads army when I read about the fuzzy wuzzies
and corporal jones much used line "they don't like it up 'em".
cheers Rob

"When they're dead they're mostly shammin'" - I love that poem. Kipling was an amazing author and poet.

Thought I'd add a few more photo which features "The British Command Set and "Hookey Leads Them Out".........The Lt.

The following are the last two Hand to Hand Sets that I was able to add to my collection from The Old Toy Soldier Home bback in December of last year from his limited inventory. They're Sets HZ1A & 5A and if you look closely the basic figure of the officers are identical.........The Lt.

Hi Guys, here is the latest addition to my trophy ww 1 ,a field kitchen on the
march.

Rob,

Congratulations on acquiring the set! That Trophy Field Kitchen is very, very nice. I have always liked the Trophy figures a great deal and that set makes a wonderful addition to your collection. Thanks for showing it to us!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

That is a great little set Vandillay. Did you get it from the same place. How about this weekend. An all SA vs NZ semi-final for the super 14. Not an Aussie in sight. I know they will say it is only Rugby Union but I am sure it rankles.
Damian

Hi Damian
yeah I got it from the same place,I,ll have to back the Crusaders for
the super 14 ,I cant bring myself to back the blues.
The SA teams have improved a lot this year, which hopefully wont
transfer through to the Boks for our sake.

Those Trophy mix well with those Britains. I know the size is different but it has never worried me.
Regards
Damian Clarke

Thought I'd add photos of my single figures in mini-dios that I acquired over the past few years from various sets by Trophy at The Dedham Shows....The Lt.

I like the figure in blue with his arm raised firing his pistol,
It looks like hes in a good old western shoot out !

No K.V. he's the same figure that appears in the following hand to hand scene by Trophy but he was given a new head you'll note the difference in the helmets and finished by Trophy as a Colour Sgt. of Artillery. You know me by now a pictures worth a 1000 words......The Lt.

Michael (aka "The Kilted Vampire") here's two identical figures from Trophy which shows the same figure with a uniform change. Notice I have'nt changed uniforms and don't tell me it's about time that I should I just had it cleaned and pressed..........The Lt.
