Trophy of Wales (2 Viewers)

But John, they're only toy soldiers, you know!:D

PerChaps:D But with no bent swords, or bayonets.......or missing heads it

doesn't look like anyone is playing with them!!

Of course the wife would say the Lt's diorama and photographic work

certainly falls within the guidelines of "Playing"

Especially if he has a smile on his face while he is doing it!:D

What puts a smile on my face John is playing with my Toy Soldiers and I've no doubt my Aide de Camp does also has a smile on his face when he plays with his. It's nice to know that your wife also feels that I'm playing with my Toy Soldiers. So here once again I've got a smile on my face playing with my Toy Soldiers....The Lt.

Nice to see the Steam Tractor arrived safely;)

Love the other figures as well:cool:

Cheers

Martyn:)

I have been after that set for years.
I saw a picture of it in a book called' The New Toy Soldiers". It was a great book on all the new manufacturers and I think it was published about 1990. SO it had Blenheim, Trophy, WB, and even K and C. I thought this set was long out of production so got quite excited about it when it appeared on e bay. I asked Lyn in passing an dhe said he had on in the shop.
It is not listed in my Trophy catalogue so I am really intrigued by the Trophy system.
I just need to get a little more information about the issue of Trophy Trains.
I think some-body else made the trains.

The Steam Traction is one of my favs of Trophy, though I will not own one due to my self-imposed moniker:( I wish Trophy did an observation balloon- I would then turn into VictorianAddict, and then be able to get the train!:D

I would class you as a Victorian addict in the nicest possible way:D

PS I am not worried about a train, give me a boat or three:cool:

An incorrigible junkie, with no hope of salvation in sight-And I would be happy to try for a boat as well to feed my habit!

Once again our gallant Colour-Sargeant along with the Flag totting Officer are in the thick of things. Once again Martyn thanks for sharing your Trophy playtime with us....The Lt.

Awwwwwwww I remember I got a book which showed this complete set but it was well retired when I ordered it, so I contacted Trophy and they said that the casts had been destroyed so I couldn't get one, but then, and I was very grateful for this, they re-made the set for me, so basically I have a one-of-a-kind set which was remade for me, it's a truly great set but:D:cool::eek::D

How about some pictures! We'd love to see you join our band if Trophy brothers! As the Lt. would attest, even one set gets you a lifetime membership in this exclusive gentleman's club.
