Trophy Special Commissions (4 Viewers)

Hi Martyn

Looking forward to seeing photos of those sets! Additionally do you have any photos of the guards toy soldier centre displays? If so, please share. I regret never taking photos when I visited (I guess I always thought it would be around!). Fortunately I took my son to visit a few months before it closed and recall with great sadness when Mrs Kenwood informed us during that visit that they were soon closing the centre to make way for a coffee shop.

Best wishes

I was there once in March, 2003, and bought a bunch of wonderful Trophy items, but I didn't think to take photographs either.

I'm very fortunate to have both. I only wish I could obtain or even see a photo of the Russian version of the set.
How do you know it exists? Did someone claim to have it, or was it listed in a catalog?

It is listed in the Trophy WWI catalogue/price list (I believe from Trophy of Texas) that was given to me by fellow Treefrogger Tommy Allison.

Well, in this case, you might want to reach out to Mike Lading (if I spell his name right) , who was in charge of Trophy of Texas—he would know for sure. He’s not the easiest person to talk to based on my experience, but he’s still on Facebook, so you can try contacting him there.
