Thanks to a heads up from our good friend Tommy, I got another nice set of marching WWI French Infantry.:smile2:

The Russian Standard Bearer and Marching French Infantrymen arrived safely. Teddy even threw in a marching Russian Officer (thanks again!):

Looks like you paid a pretty penny for it.[/QUOTE
WELL HE OUTBID ME, MAKES WONDER IF I SHOULDN'T PUT MY TRUKISH SETS UP FOR BID

If you are thinking about putting your Trophy WWI Turkish sets up for sale, if you let me know what you want for them, we might be able to work a deal, while saving you the e-bay fees. If you are interested, PM me what sets you have and what you want for them.

Louis...
your Trophy WWI Turkish Machine Gun set is a particularly nice piece...
a diorama in itself...

Thank you Mike! I am slowly but surely trying to add the Russian and Turkish sets to my Trophy WWI collection, and fill in the gaps in my Western front collection (most notably the Motor Ambulance) . . . :salute::

Here are some photos of my Trophy WWI Aussies & Turks (for the time being displayed on my Trophy WWI Western Front diorama):

I love all the Trophy "DARDANELLES CAMPAIGN 1915" series, just wish I had decided to collect them when they were released:(

All the best

Martyn:)

Martyn,

So do I! The are very hard to find and quite expensive when you find them!

Here are some shots of the Trophy WWI U.S.M.C. (with a U.S.M.C. Mule Handler I had bought about a year ago) and Turkish Camel Escort Trooper on my WWI Display (once I get a few more Gallipoli sets, I will have to make a separate Gallipoli diorama, but for now they are visiting the Western Front):

All the new Trophy Gallipoli sets have safely arrived, and I asked the very busy Ken Osen to make me a custom Gallipoli diorama and backdrop, but in the mean time, I grabbed a Build-A-Rama desert terrain mat and desert backdrop, and make this little scene in the back corner of my WWI Display area:
