Trophy - zulu war sets (1 Viewer)

Martyn,
And my wife thinks I'm crazy:eek: I have all the books minus the Fynn diary and the AZWHS magazines(I copied them from the members website). I'm at work right now but will post a beauty in my office!:)
Mike

Excellent Mike, now get back to work, somebody has to do it:p

Cheers

Martyn,,
I can't . Everyone is afflicted with the usual pre-holiday work slowdown. They stop working when the internet goes down, electricity goes down, someone comes into the office with a newborn., etc. I just went downstairs and shouted "Everyone is now working for free!!" Somehow this produced some immediate productivity.
Merry Christmas!
Mike

Not much of a selection there Martyn LOL

Should keep you busy for a few days anyway, probably long enough so that Mike can nick that "hospital sized" package :D:D:D:D

The “Big Box” had no surprise in it when opened:D

I’ve done a quick set up, for some pictures, accessorising it with some Trophy figures.

SNAP Martyn !!! I got one of those too. It's a great piece is it not? Thanks you for setting up some of your figures and taking the snaps. The Trophy figures go well with this hospital too and i love that figure that is on his knees grasping for the front door.

Hi Scott

It is a very nice piece and the Trophy figures do go very well with, glad you got one too.

The figure is from BD6 Behind the Entrenchment

Happy New Year

Mike

Is that your office?
It looks great.
Crealock's paintings are getting harder and harder to get hold of.
It is a great book but they could have designed it a bit better.

You guys are full of great ideas. Teh Trophy figures really work well both inside and outside the hospital
Thanks for posting

Had a hunch Martyn you were spending some time putting what came out of the big box in front of your camera and the Trophy figures blend in quite nicely with it. I'd rattle off what sets the figures came from but we'll keep it a secret between us. Looking forward to seeing what else you've got plan for it. Scott I'm sure will be seeing additional photos from you as it becomes manned. Gee Damian bet you can wait to get settled into your temporary abode so you can join in the fun and wonder what 1879's been up to. Hope he's got the day off and has been allowed to play for awhile with his figures and camera. Once again some great photos Martyn and glad seeing the enjoyment your return to the hobby is bringing you.............The Lt.

Hi Jo and Damiam

Glad you like the way they combined well. I've got a few more ideas to try out in the near future.

You are absolutely right Joe the enjoyment has certainly returned in a huge way and you guys should all take a big bow for the influence the pictures of your collections have made.

Cheers

Martyn:)

Hey Guys,
Been on the road to the in-laws outside of Philthydelphia! The Hospital, and soon the Storehouse, is serving us Trophy fanatics quite well! I love what you have done already, Martyn, with the men inside fighting for their lives!
Mike

Glad you liked it Mike.

Looking forward to the pictures you will be posting of your building plus figures

Cheers

Looks like you have a couple of Zulus who donned tunics and changed sides

The troops are actually NNC (Natal Native Contingent), they were recruited from the Basuto and Mponso tribes, traditional enemies of the Zulu. One of the NNC has appropriated a red coat but they normally wore a red piece of cloth to distinguish them from Zulus. Only one in 10 had a firearm, usually an old muzzle loader, they normally fought with spear or knobkerri (club)

Cheers

Knew you you'd delivered as promise Martyn and nicely done again and enjoying seeing tthe results of your playtime..........The Lt.

Martyn,
Exactly what Joe said!!!! Questions....1. Are the Attacking Zulus part of that DLS set? 2. Where's the NNC with the Blue rag?;)
Mike
