I think it will be around the price of the 262 and the P47. cannot see it being $300 which would equate to around that price in the UK. for $99 more you could have the HE from figarti so, would be stunned if it was that price.
Mitch
I think your spot on Mitch

Hopefully it won't be long before we get price details, K&C UK are pretty sharp at getting the details up on their website and when you think about it next months releases are still dome way off at the moment.

Rob

I definitely like this Typhoon and will be getting one !!!!!! I am guessing about $300.00....plus $250.00 for the Bowser ..$40.00 each figure plus $80.00 for the double figure .....around $1000.00....this might be my only purchase this year...^&grin...but I think it's worth it ......{sm4}
I would agree with the release price for the Typhoon at $299.00
Guess we will all find out soon enough what it winds up being $$$

I"m definately up for one!!.....Dönt understand why but the Typhoon is an aircraft that is not often seen in the world of modelling...and though I dont always agree with what Andy releases/and how he releases it, But this time..HATS OFF!!!!!! an
excellent rendition of the Hawker Typhoon.....Mines on Pre..Pre..Pre...Order!!!!!!!.

Yes its good to see theTyphoon take its bow, such an iconic, feared Aircraft that I've a feeling its going to fly out the door, pardon the pun.

Rob

I would expect the run to be 500 or 600 keeping it in line with other releases apart from those remarked up. Prices will be known when its released

Sounds a reasonable amount, we should know the price before its released , hopefully in a few weeks time, keep an eye on K&C UK website, they often get the price up pretty quick.

Rob

What is all the fuss about, can K&C make a decent typhoon?^&confuse{sm2}^&grin{sm3}^&cool

HHHHmmmmmm........

I had no idea that the RAF disguised their enormous aircraft hangers as two car garages!{eek3}{sm2}{sm3}

Kevin's secret is out - my backyard and his solarium are his actual studios.:wink2: That's why the trees in the background look so realistic.

Thing is we know when its going to be released but, I have never seen a set priced before its release. either from HK or UK why would they do this now?? HK are the price setters not the other way around with respect. I mean, I am still peturbed that we are getting all of these sneek peeks I prefer, them to come in the dispatches. I hope that this is not a new thing as we get less releases each month

Mitch,

Do you mean aircraft only?. K&C UK have all the prices of upcoming releases on their site now, the Mickey Mouse bowser is some way off but already priced.

Rob

The bowser is this months (june) releases for next month or slightly after but, still a june release. so, I would expect K&C to have the price up as similar with the AK Beetle. I would not think they will post the price of the Typhoon set for August release until K&CHK has released it which, for august release will be july's dispatches.

Right, with you now Mitch. Yes July's Dispatches sure enough for the Typhoon, that little bit longer to find the dosh.

Rob

The K&C planes just keep getting better and better! This Typhoon is clear proof of that.

Very much agree with this. They are a great range and have got better and better from the off. No disrespect intended at all to those who collect the wooden warbirds but for me these are top of the deck.

I am very much looking forward to also seeing a close up pic of the ground crew, they look excellent to me in the pic we've seen so far, I like the mix of khaki wearing and RAF figures very much indeed. I think these are going to be very interesting sets and bring the whole scene to life. I will add the Tilly and Bowser, maybe a dispatch rider and see what we come up with.

Rob , I think the new wooden warbirds are still a standout , there is some
real craftmanship in them that a polystone plane doesnt quite match imo .

Its a great read and will give plenty of ideas. From memory I don't think the squadron andy's aircraft represents was in 2 tac.

Hey Neil, those books sound good, could you tell me more, who the author is, where to buy the etc?

Hi Rob,

Yes I fully agree they are wonderful models and this is just my personal view of course, but for me the Polystone releases have been a revelation , quality and value, just what I wanted. Before they were released I didn't own a single 1/30 scale Aircraft and now they are an essential element of my collection, in my view one of the best things K&C have done.

Cheers

Rob
