John replied which in itself speaks volumes here is his reply and all is good news...................
Hello Wayne Many thanks for taking the time to drop me a line. I understand your frustration, and disappointment regarding the two second world war collections. If its any help I do hope to complete these projects over the Christmas and Chinese New Year holidays. This means that the pieces with any luck should be available from the middle of 2024. I also understand that this might not be acceptable. In my defense you have to understand that the last three years have been pretty insane! The best laid plans have often been torn up and thrown out! As I go through my news updates to see what else I have missed, there is the Aztec Temples, and the Hellcat still outstanding. I hope to have found a solution to the temple, which also may be available next year. It has been insane, and a very challenging three years, and I am only just starting to feel we are beginning to come out of the worst of it. My priority has been to concentrate on production, and to keep everything moving forward. This has been at the expense of more than the two to four series I have not produced. It’s insane I don’t have a website! It upsets me that the Caption Contest has gone,…. the Chicago Treasure hunt, and golden anniversary tickets, and the advent calendar are no more. These were all things that I felt were important, as it made my company and collecting, about having fun!. It would certainly upset me to disappoint collectors, especially as we have worked so hard to stay in business these last few years. I have been considering stopping the updates etc, and concentrating in 2024 on catching up with all the announcements, and trying to get back to some basics. Such as a website, and all the special contests etc, which kept the fun in the collecting. Once again, many thanks for taking the time to drop me a line. I understand your frustration, but wish you all the best for a less disappointing 2024! Best regards john jenkins
