US/Israel Launches Op Epic Fury Against Iran (7 Viewers)

George it seems like everything done in politics today and always has the flavor of quid pro quo...

and in the grand scheme of things...$250 million is not a lot of money...as strange as that sounds...

I have not researched this enough to comment any more than that...but I am sympathetic towards Israel...just my opinion...

I would hate to exist/live in Israel in such close proximity to Iran...coupled with anti-sematic terrorists surrounding me while I have my back to the Mediterranean Sea...
And just like that, the Dow is up 700 points.............the markets are driven by fear and greed, that's for sure..............a positive headline and they pop, a negative one and they tank.

One thing that was mentioned; oil is not going to drop below 65.00 a barrel anytime soon, 3.00 plus per gallon prices are here for awhile.

dang skippy...
that is how the market works...
good news is good...
bad news is bad...
one bad statement can send it crashing...

and I don't mind paying a little extra for gas for a while if something constructive comes out of this...
as long as the supply doesn't run out...I can hang in there...

Fiscal conservatism is the only reason I have ever voted the other way in my life.
Not trying to start a fight please.

Unfortunately this concept doesn't exist in either side or party. They both, when in power, spend as much as they can. I am a fiscal conservative who has been continuously disappointed my entire adult voting life.

Yeah. Giving someone 4-8 years to be God and expecting him/her to balance the books rather than make a grand gesture to aggrandize themselves is probably asking for trouble. Too bad.
Still glad to be living in a Democracy,
Best Wishes

Same is true for any government office at all levels. I don't have an answer. It appears that no one does.

I can't answer the strategy, etc. Typically, if Israel is involved, it is done with precision. It looks like today there were some sort of talks that are having a positive effect on the markets and oil prices are already plunging which should help in a few months time. (Gas prices here go up over the Summer regardless of oil price per barrel as demand rises).

Boots on the ground would be ill advised in today's world for a myriad of reasons. I can guarantee that if 50% agree with the strikes now, a boots on the ground would reduce that to 10%. Just not worth it as you can't fight the war you need to fight. As my late Grandfather said many times before his passing and as a WW2 veteran - people may rework history and condemn people like General Patton, but they knew how to wage a war - ie total war. That is impossible with today's press coverage. By definition war is horrid, modern thoughts do not have the stomach for what would be necessary. And to illustrate my point - look at the aftermath of Gaza, forget the fact that this area has waged terror wars for 50 years or more, look at the outpouring (misplaced in my opinion) of sympathy.

Tom.
The "Talks" have been huge, on public display psyops, with President Trump barely able to control himself laughing, setting one lot of Clerics /IRGC against another lot of Clerics /IRGC and it's been working since they trust each other so little, that they have been running round protecting their own arses rather than concentrating on the their own responces. A nice example of Taqiyya being used back on the Islamists in Iran.

I think in a clip I just saw of Pres Trump speaking with the MSM, he seemed to be hinting at the Son of the former Shah, Crown Prince Reza Pahlevi, who the msm was totally not focused on, as they are still only thinking in the way of Ayatollahs, maybe because of President Trumps previous for the public, thoughts.
