Wow! Great pictures and a great collection. Thanks for posting.

Forget the Toy Soldiers....Just a chance to gaze enviously at your Deathshead Colpack would make a visit worthwhile!!!!!!..absolutely awesome. The only other place where i have seen anything as good as this is in the War Museum in Brussels....Thanks for showing us your Collection...Oh!! and the toy soldiers are also NOT BAD either!!!!!!!!.

His collection is unbelievable. Perhaps we will get to post some more this week while I am visiting. There are actually two Hussar Totenkoph Busby's. One is a Brunswick Officers private purchase original. The other is a grey seal skin 1st Lieb garde I believe. He has the first 1840 Pickelhaube to the last WWI models.

My favorite has to be the Bavarian Royal Garde helmet in the center of the metal helmet display. Breath taking. The workmanship is beyond compare. There is also a French Old Garde Bearskin that has not been pictured. The flags; the bronze statues; it is amazing.

Gerhard:)

Thank you for your words. If you ever get a chance go to the Bavarian Army Museum in Ingolstadt (Bayerisches Armeemuseum) you will be in my heaven!

It has been awhile for me but they had and I think still have some toy soldier displays of various conflicts on a grand scale.

Thanks for your response. I am going to post some more goodies in the next few days!!

Shows how well the high quality toy soldiers and actual memorabilia go quite well together. ! {bravo}}

Thank you. It is interesting that you have posted that. I have just finished suspending one of the new Fokker planes in a strafing run over one of my displays. I was actually looking around at other photo ops and back at older pictures that I might introduce showing a fine blend of Militaria and Toy Soldiers. You are right....they go hand in hand. One compliments the other. You would not believe the compliments I have had for the blend of both. I will post more. I am glad that everyone is enjoying them. It has brought more of the pleasure back and caused me to look at them as I did years ago on some. Life's many toils at times make them all disappear. It can be days and I have not looked at any of it.

Thanks to Gerhard and members like you I am actually cleaning and organizing them again. Enjoying them as I did when I started.

Thank you.

Ludwig.

Here are a few pictures of one of my guest rooms. I thought you would like to see how great KC and Bastion oriental figures grace a rooms decor. Look closely for the KC HK and Imperial figures.

Everyone especially likes the curio.

Hi Bayern,
this entire thread with your collection of Militaria and Toy Soldiers is a great pleasure to view, but your guest room here is something really special.
The only thing that would concern me, this being a guest room, how in the world could someone go to sleep in there? ^&grin ^&confuse
I can surely understand, why the curio attracts a lot of interest.
Absolutely magnificient {bravo}}
