Wargaming with K&C (2 Viewers)

I love to set up the figures and photograph them, but I enjoy playing wargames even more. I played a short game this morning with my son and am posting this AAR (after-action report). I hope you at least enjoy the pictures.

Jurgen ,

Well that's another good way to use your K&C figures...What rules do you use for miniature combat ?
A long time ago i had played Warhammer with a few friends although that is more platoon level combat , i found it enjoyable & fun...Thanks for sharing !

I use 'Bolt Action' from Osprey and Warlord games for WW2. So, looking forward to new Fallschirmjager releases some time in the future.

I follow their releases on TMP (The Miniatures Page). They have quite a line of figures now too.

Been 2 years, but at one time, there was a 54mm WW2 game being offered at the Wargame convention in Lancaster PA...KC retired T34's as well as FOV armor was a regular feature..Michael

I really like the narrative. Didn't realize how well you can wargame with K & C. Thanks for posting. Especially the after action report. Brad

Very interesting photos and report. I never realized you could war game on a small unit scale with individual soldiers rather that units. Obviously that makes the larger scale units more useful for this purpose. How common is this type of war gaming? What rules did you use for these encounters?
