During the Second World War my Dad served with the 2/15th Field Company R.A.E 9th Division A.I.F. He was handy with the coloured pencils and during the many hours between operations he scribbled away in a large note book which I was lucky enough to keep safe for all these years since. As you will understand I am rather proud of my Father and these drawings which have not been seen by anyone outside the family before (some I posted in another thread recently which got me thinking) so if will you indulge a son his wish to show his Dad work here are just some.
Wayne.

Tom,
He was a 'Sapper' but he past away when I was just ten years old and so I never got to hear those stories, I guess a Sapper in those days was a general army dogs body digging, filling in and all the rest of what engineers would have done, I just didn't ever get the chance to talk to him. He did get around a bit ...New Guinea - Lea & Finschhafen, Boreno - Brunei Bay & Tarakan.
Thanks mate,
Wayne.
