Really very eye catching. Wonderful display and quite a collection.

See this is why I have always steered from this series, I would want all this wonderful display and I cannot image how much that would set me back financially. I will dip my toe in with Napoleon in Egypt, but this is close as I will get to Nap's. Cheers, Robin.

Thank you all for the kind remarks. It took a few years to put together.

An outstanding display.....great job.

I enjoyed viewing your pictures.

Thanks, Raymond.:)

Brilliant set up there....

how many troops in the display??

John

Awesome display and impressive collection. Thanks for posting.

Terp.......

All I can say is WOW!!!!!:salute:::salute:: As a NAP Waterloo collector also, I'm just stunned how well your collection is laid out. And the pictures are crisp and close, which I like. That makes it very intimate and immerses you right into the battle. But the thing that's really caught my eye is your great use of grass mats. You've really placed them seamlessly together to make it one consistent landscape and not patchwork.

I currently display on flat bases, but will change to more elaborate landscaping when I move to Delaware next year. I had shrugged on the idea of using mats, but this is giving some new thoughts and, I'm going to take another look at that. I'm very interested in knowing which mfg.'s mats and sizes your using if you don't mind.

It's a magnificent dio and thank you for posting these pics.

All the best..................Joe

Grognard, Breslau, Raymond, John, Duke, Joe Ray appreciate the comments and feedback.

Joe Ray, the grass mats are custom made from Build a Rama. First mat was 8' x 2'. Widened the table by 10" and had another mat made. Used double sided tape to fix the edges to the base. Brushing the grass hides the seam except where it bisects the stream.

Duke, French figs: 55 cavalry, 90 infantry/artillery, 4 guns. British figs: 28 cavalry, 141 infantry/artillery, 4 guns.

Thank you for sharing your expansive looking dio. Fantastic photography too.

If you ever think of "expanding" the battle .. consider adding JohnJenkins' 1812 Redcoat infantry & foot artillery. They do blend very well with the K&C and WB troopers.

Now this is what I call an impressive display. A huge number of figures laid out in formation on a great looking base. A really fine collection. Congratulations. -- Al

wow!!! that is a stunning display. How many sets are on the display?

Thanks Mitch,

French figs: 55 cavalry, 90 infantry/artillery, 4 guns. British figs: 28 cavalry, 141 infantry/artillery, 3 guns (1 more on the way). THe majority are KC, but some Frontline, CS, and WB in the mix to fill in unit gaps. Chris

Here's better pics of the square.
