West Coaster Show- King and Country (1 Viewer)

Despite the debate regarding the tracks on the new Tiger, which I suspect has more to do with painting than any sort of downgrade in detail, this latest iteration is quite possibly the best K&C Tiger release yet.

This will be my fourth K&C Tiger and I'm very happy about it,might put some tank riders on it-and before anyone says it, no I've not spotted any!!!;)

Hmm, can we be sure of that. I'll need to consult with Doc Simon

Before we rush to judgment on the Tiger, perhaps we should wait for more pictures.

It doesn't seem quite fair to make a judgment on a model on only one photo since sometimes appearances can be deceiving.

No judgement. Just the observation that it looks like there is modeled mud on the tracks. K&C has done the mud on the tracks display before with at least the Summer Panther and the 2 long barreled Stugs. It's not really an issue for me. I think the model is excellent and will be getting one.

Thanks for posting! pics are great, I'm excited for the new tiger

Definetly agree. Couldn't care about the mud on the tracks. I liked the Normandy Panther, also. A new Tiger, from Kursk, and a new Mk.III, and Prokhorovka here we come. Excellent release. -- Al

Thanks for the pics! Nice that someone could post pics for us show-deprived guys... :) I like the way some of those figures in the first pics seeem to have 5 o'clock shadows... :) Enjoy the show!

"For my money" K&C make great figures,"For my money" the purchase of their AFVs is subjective,i choose carefully because i have several issues with their AFVs,Running Gear /Tracks in particular. If the look is designed to imitate mud or trapped debris, then paint it as such,i dont see that on the new Tiger, mud and churned earth has a distinctive look and the rubber wheels on this version would be likewise covered in mud ,as this example of wet mud shows,
tigeriwinteraj_41.jpg
,if the mould has a rough finish, dont try and pass it off as mud when all the running gear should be likewise covered in the same mud not just on /in the tracks.S33 as modelled would not have wet mud as illustated in photo, but a tiger would have the propensity to churn the earth up into the running gear and side and rear mud guards, some of which is clearly shown on the new Tiger but clearly not shown as distinctly on the running gear.Again this is not a critical post, merely my personal observation and we all buy only what we like,i have also stated that the Tiger may look better in the flesh, ken

Who makes the model in the image you posted? Is it your own modeled 1:35....I would by that one in a flash :).....That's how a Tiger Tank should look...Very realistic styling.... This might be a rendition we might see in the future from FL.....But for now I personally wish I had such modeling skills

The 1914 French look incredible, I've been waiting for them for years, hopefully some in combat poses will follow soon. I keep telling myself "Just a couple more weeks, just a couple more weeks."

Hey guys:

Here are some pictures from Andy's room. Apologies for the poor quality but tI couldn't control the sun lighting in the baclground. I haven't talked to Andy yet to get the background on some of these releases. I really like the Firefly and the British para's. They're cool.

These pics and all the others we've seen show just why K&C are the industry leaders and in my view the best, and they do this month in and month out.

The Fire-Fly looks very good to me but as we have been discussing....I am not so sure about the Tiger.....The tracks and wheels are not too clear in the photos....Also a little detailing with photo-etched screens in the exhaust would have been a step up for K/C....They did this on the King Tiger but I don't see it here....I would like to see more photos with close up before I make a purchase....

Yes its very nice, very much like a Tamiya kit, nice model but have moved on from making those sort of models.

Rob, Making those 1:35 scale models to "that level" of excellence requires some serious modeling skills...I am somewhat OK at it.... but never that good as the photo posted of that winter tiger(looks like a Dragon Kit)....That would be a great model....for anyone's standards....Best regards Vezzolf

Brad, you know my verdict (mad as a bucket of fish, but just entertain him, otherwise he can be prone to severe bouts of sulking) ;)

Shhh, let's humor the poor lad.

Yes, of course, Rob, no tank riders. Whatever were we thinking.
