The detail is "better" because it has the air filter boxes and hoses of a full tropical "Feifel" air filter system, not commonly fitted to Tiger tanks in Europe or Russia. Actual photos of Das Reich Tigers show no Feifel system. K&C did correctly put that detail on the rear deck of the Tunisian Tiger, an earlier model, but had to remove it for this tank to be correct.

The Fire-Fly looks very good to me but as we have been discussing....I am not so sure about the Tiger.....The tracks and wheels are not too clear in the photos....Also a little detailing with photo-etched screens in the exhaust would have been a step up for K/C....They did this on the King Tiger but I don't see it here....I would like to see more photos with close up before I make a purchase....

Adding photo etched parts would take the model into the realm of the Figarti Tiger with full interior, IMO the best Tiger ever made for sale with a level of detail and accuracy exceeded by no manufacturer, but at a price of almost $300. That's a lot of money for a tank, but worth it to me in this case. It's one of my favourites.

Who makes the model in the image you posted? Is it your own modeled 1:35....I would by that one in a flash :).....That's how a Tiger Tank should look...Very realistic styling.... This might be a rendition we might see in the future from FL.....But for now I personally wish I had such modeling skills

Ah yes, making models from kits in the days when putting rust on tanks (too much of it) was all the rage. I doubt that any manufacturer of assembled vehicles will ever put that much weathering on a vehicle. It's not to everyones tastes. They really leave it up to the collector/modeller to repaint or add weathering.

Definitely, Tiger S33 of 2.SS.Panzergrenadier-Division "Das Reich" as it appeared during the summer of 1943 (Kursk) and I must say it looks pretty good in the pictures.

Think this means we'll be getting more early W-SS? Could really use some

Andy confirmed there are WWI French combat troops in the works at the show. I believe this year, although I may have heard incorrectly.

The 1914 French look incredible, I've been waiting for them for years, hopefully some in combat poses will follow soon. I keep telling myself "Just a couple more weeks, just a couple more weeks."

Thank You Carlos for posting these excellent pictures. The close up photos are great and it is interesting to see what is coming out this year. John

That U.S. truck in the background being called a "prop" really looks like the Forces of Valor Enthusiast version of the Deuce 2 1/2. That reminds me, we really need another U.S. truck for our troops, the one they made has been retired forever and is a fortune on Ebay.
